Red State! Amen.

I offer the above ^ link to ask a related question.

Do you believe Kent?

If so, why? If not, why not?

(Incidentally, I realize that many people believe that our government “lied” to us about Iraq’s possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction. But my question isn’t addressed to anything about such past issues. Instead, it focuses on this Iranian issue.)

The past is being repeated. To suggest you aren't addressing that in some subtle way is be in serious denial about any question posed, while demanding certain context not be included in an answer.

"US intel community agreed before war 'Iran wasn't developing a nuclear weapon': ex-counterterrorism chief - Joe Kent declared 'the narrative & agenda spun by a foreign government- Israel, won the argument & forced us into this war'"

Who is Joe Kent____________?

Why is Joe Kent to be trusted here. He has no agenda here that we can clearly see.

Video on link is "
Iran’s playbook is to talk and then fight, Lt Gen Keith Kellogg says
"Great Secretary of War?" "Putting a 'Provisional Government in there?" Calls Trump 'reasonable." This statement and others are a puff piece on the Trump administration and on Trump himself. Guy's like Kent used to be called "warmongers"

Joseph Keith Kellogg Jr. (born May 12, 1944) is an American diplomat and retired lieutenant general in the United States Army. This guy belittles death.

Joseph Keith Kellogg Jr. (born May 12, 1944) is an American diplomat and retired lieutenant general in the United States Army.[1] He previously served as the national security advisor to Vice President Mike Pence, and as the executive secretary and chief of staff of the United States National Security Council in the first Trump administration. He held the position of national security advisor on an acting basis following the resignation of Michael Flynn. Kellogg served as the United States Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia and later as the United States Special Envoy for Ukraine during the Second Presidency of Donald Trump.

I honestly have no idea, but I do think it's naive to believe Iran wouldn't use weapons of mass destruction if given the opportunity. They are fanatics.

Of course they are fanatics. But.
The Regime is not suicidal. Setting off Nukes unless there is a really serious existential threat would be suicide. Think of the Old Soviet Union and people's arguments of the era that resemble yours here on Iran.

And Iran did not and does not currently have Nuclear weapons. The JCPOA was a seriously good deal. How many nations worked on it and supported it versus Mr. Trump?

We aren't supplied with all the intel that the government has.
I can only make a guess, and with the rhetoric from the muslims
in that region, I'll err on the side of caution.

Caution?
:abgg2q.jpg:

Is that what you would suggest we believe?

You sure about that? Fanatics don't care about dying, especially if they think they'd be martyred as a result, hence, suicide bombers.

Oh brother :rolleyes-41:
Not suicidal? This is the regime that wants to bring on the apocalypse. :eusa_whistle:

USSR wanted to conquer the world, Iran wants to destroy it.

The past is being repeated.
That’s merely your baseless presupposition.
To suggest you aren't addressing that in some subtle way is be in serious denial about any question posed,
First off, you need to sue your teachers for malpractice.

Secondly, you’re wrong, anyway.

The contention that we were “lied to” about Iraqi possession of WMD’s has zero bearing on whether we were lied to about the imminence of the Iranian regime’s ability to craft nuclear weapons.
while demanding certain context not be included in an answer.
It’s not “context.” On many matters it can be true that people and governments have lied. That doesn’t tell us whether or not anybody is lying in this instance.

But you don’t grasp that fact.

I don’t address the balance of your post since it’s non-responsive about the actual topic.

I'm shocked you haven't realized that the use of Suicide Bombers is a tactic that those in charge do not participate in as doers. Of course many fanatics care about not dying. Just look at people captured who don't just confess and say "kill me."

You appear to be highly confused on very much. Almost as if you live in a world filled with memes and headlines.
