God gave me a granddaughter 18 months ago. Two weeks after she was born, I started full-time daycare eagerly and voluntarily to help my daughter and her husband, both young professionals get a start in life. Something I did not have in my 20s..

This granddaughter does not have my dna but she would not exist in this world but for the miracle of meeting her grandmother 25 years ago, in Russia on a tour with a Russian friend whom I met a few months earlier by chance at a Browns Backers bar that I chose out of three bars to stop in ace watch the Cleveland Browns lose another game.

The baby‘s mother came into my life when she was six years old, where she became my third daughter. I love her same as my own and the proudest day came about the time she was 14 and she had been contacted by her father and it didn’t turn out well and she told me that I am her dad.

As far as I’m concerned, God was participating in that moment when she said that.

She went to college nearby and lived at home the duration. Both her step sisters, my daughters, cam, Ohio to Virginia for her high school graduation her graduation from college.

She got married during Covid and went to fulfill her teenage dream of living in California so they moved away.. two years ago her mother and I went to the West Coast for a visit and while there we were informed that she was pregnant. and they both wanted to move back to be close to us..

So I thank God, my hard work and my wife’s hard work paid off because we were able to buy another property with cash for them to live in nearby and the rest of the story is now is one my greatest joys in life spending five days a week with my new granddaughter and watching her grow up.

and I’m so proud of my daughter and her husband and so happy that my daughter and have come so close and appreciation of each other under this arrangement.
