If so, presidential candidates are remaining eerily quiet about what’s being described as “a huge disaster waiting to happen.”

Come on politicians.It's time to wake up and smell the roses,the country is going down the toilet and YOU ARE DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT! They are hiding it from the mass of people and preparing for how they will deal with the mass of upset angry people. That's all. The problem is that the roses died and the politicians are so used to the sewer smells that they are quite comfortable where they are. Some are even digging deeper.

Populists don't want to upset the masses. Corporatists don't want to upset their masters. With those two groups in control, what can be expected?

An 18% to 22% stock market drop would be the best thing that could happen.
