How worried are R's about the ACA premium hike backlash? This worried.

How many congressional toadies are now assessing the cost of collusion?
I agree, but I also have to wonder if they'd be feeling any regret if his numbers were not so low.

In fact, I don't wonder. They'd be just fine with the ugliness, hate and division he's demonstrated and motivated from others.

Trump was always fine with some extension of parts of the COVID Supplemental Subsidy in addition to the massive "regular" subsidy that had to be implimented to cover up how unaffordable premiums had become under the "Affordable" Care Act. He said that several times during the shutdown.

I disagreed with him, but at least he did not advocate keeping the subsidies for insurers of multi-millionaires and keeping subsidies for phantom consumers. He also refused to bow to Schumer and Hakeem's blackmail.

Just wondering how long you're going to watch your mailbox for that good old $2000 check. Just like you waited for that $5000 handout from Eeeeelon. :113:

Don't spend it all on one thing.
Why would I wait for a 2000 check? And what 5k check?

Trump first oversaw the Affordable Care Act in January, 2017. He had begun promising to repeal and replace it long before that.
He apparently requires yet another fortnight.

Ever since he was a presidential candidate, Trump has been promising the American people a "terrific," "phenomenal" and "fantastic" new health care plan to replace the Affordable Care Act.
But, in the 3½ years since he set up shop in the Oval Office, he has yet to deliver.
In his early days on the campaign trail, circa 2015, he said on CNN he said he would repeal Obamacare and replace it with "something terrific," and on Sean Hannity’s radio show he said the replacement would be "something great." Fast-forward to 2020. Trump has promised an Obamacare replacement plan five times so far this year. And the plan is always said to be just a few weeks away.

Let that be a life lesson for you…it’s much easier to **** something up like the Dems have done, then fix it

Yes, please feel free to respond to my posts with a lengthy off-topic rant about Trump.

Do you support his efforts to extended the ACA supplemental COVID supplements for the truly needy?

But he shut down the government anyway? Gosh, that's more idiotic than I thought.

Trump shut down the government?

When?

How?

Describe the process Trump used to "shut down the government?"

Did you know short term memory loss is an early sign of dementia?

Congress returns to session Monday and kicks off a December sprint to address expiring Affordable Care Act subsidies and prevent health insurance premium hikes for millions of Americans.

Members of both parties acknowledge success hangs on one question: Will President Donald Trump ever figure out what he wants?

Dotard has had years and years to figure this out. Perhaps, like you, he finds the issue is too complex for his addled mind.

Since lawmakers left town 10 days ago, the picture has only grown foggier. Early in their holiday break, Trump appeared to be on the precipice of announcing a framework to temporarily extend the Obamacare subsidies with new eligibility restrictions, only to pull back after a mountain of internal GOP criticism.

In his only comments on the matter, Trump injected more uncertainty last week, saying he doesn’t want to extend the subsidies but understands it might be necessary.

That's not leadership. That's indecision due to a lack of conviction on core principles.

Tell us about Joe. If civil discourse ever happens, you will come to the deplorables. And it will be guerilla warfare.

All those Trumpsters who have said that they like the ACA but don't like Obamacare (I am not making this up) are in for a real surprise.
The ACA was supposed to be cheap all around in every way. People do not give up cheaper things in their lives easily. Someone else though pays for it. That puts Progressive Socialist people at an advantage once social agenda programs are passed. You are blaming Trump for your spastic retarded legislation passed years ago that was a lie.

So the Unaffordable "care' act is gonna become even more unaffordable.

Nice job, Dimtards.

Why are you bleating about replacing Barrycare if it is so good, Shitlips?

They are the same ilk as those who snarl, "Gub'ment better keep their hands offa mah Meddycare!"

The blowhard has been braying about replacing 'ObamaCare' with ''something terrific!" that "covers everybody!" at "less cost!" since 2015.

Now, with Repubs controlling both House and Senate, we'll finally get to see TRUMPCARE!

Senate barrels toward failure on health care

I am 1000% behind never sending insurance companies any healthcare money from the taxpayer.

However, I'm opposed to Trump just handing out checks, regardless of the amount, to people to pay for their own damn lives.

It is NOT the role of the Federal Government to send taxpayer money for any reason, even healthcare costs.
So are you saying you believe it is the job of the federal government to ONLY collect taxes from people without offering anything in return?
