How will trump react to this?

Here's your butt being handed to you.

The U.S. and Iran have agreed to a two-week ceasefire as both sides engage in talks to secure a wider peace agreement Wednesday.

Iran has proposed a 10-point plan and shared it with President Donald Trump, who said it represents a "workable basis on which to negotiate." The White House says that plan differs with the one Iranian officials released to the public on Wednesday, however, according to the New York Times.

The publicly available plan demands that the U.S. end all primary and secondary sanctions against Tehran, as well as that Iran receive full control over the Strait of Hormuz. The plan also demands an end to U.S. attacks on Iran and its allies, a withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Middle East, the release of frozen Iranian assets and a United Nations resolution stating that the agreement will be binding.

I don't think a fake news outlet like Faux does the NYT any favors by quoting it.
Like everything else you post, Fake News.

I don't trust government. Ours or anybody else's.

And as far as the nuclear weapon threat goes, stopping them from making them isn't stopping them from getting them. All there's needed is enough of an incentive between buyer and seller.

I wouldn't trust the NYT if they reported the sky was blue. Their credibility went out the window over a decade ago.
Not surprising given your support for a pathological liar who is constantly irritated by the NYT's accurate reporting.

It's very difficult to believe that Iran would just roll over.

And I notice what a big deal is being made about a "regime change". With Trump, that usually means the opposite.

I don't care how much comical, over the top cheerleading Hegseth does on this. Let's see how things end up.

Regime change is the only pathway that offers an improved situation.
Leave the theocracy in power and they just 'recharge batteries' and renew aggression at later date.
We need to find a solution that will defuse Jihad intentions and reduce offensive weaponry.

There are alternate sources to NYT;

If only you could prove it. Or for that matter any assertion you make.
I don't have to prove 'unnamed sources' That is all the proof you need. The purpose of a source is so the info can be verified for veracity and you didn't, nor do you usually provide a verifiable source. Clear?

NYT has been proven to publish bald-faced lies on numerous occasions. A news outlet, like a witness in a court of law, only needs to be proven to lie once and everything they have said or will say is suspect and considered FALSE. Try again.

U.S. has violated ceasefire agreement, Iran parliamentary speaker says

Iran’s parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the U.S. on Wednesday of violating the two-week ceasefire agreement.

“The deep historical distrust we hold toward the United States stems from its repeated violations of all forms of commitments — a pattern that has regrettably been repeated once again,” Ghalibaf said in a statement posted on social media.

Three parts of Iran’s 10-point ceasefire proposal have been violated, Ghalibaf said. The violations are Israel’s continued attacks on Lebanon, the entry of a drone into Iranian airspace, and the denial of the Islamic Republic’s right to enrich uranium, he said.

“In such situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations is unreasonable,” the parliamentary speaker said.

Didn't Dotard say the Iranian regime is more reasonable than the last? It doesn't appear so.

LOL, and you believe the Iranian terrorist regime. SMH. There has been no regime change.

1. An American guarantee of nonaggression with Iran.

2. Iran maintains control of the Strait of Hormuz.

3. Ending the regional war on all fronts, including against Iran’s ally, Hezbollah, in Lebanon.

4. Withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from all bases and positions in the region.

5. Reparations to Iran for war damages.

6. Acceptance of Iran’s right to nuclear enrichment.

7. Lifting all primary sanctions on Iran.

8. Lifting all secondary sanctions on Iran.

9. Termination of all resolutions against Iran by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Last June, the U.N. nuclear watchdog passed a resolution against Iran for the first time in 20 years, saying that Iran was not complying with its nuclear nonproliferation obligations, a move Iran condemned as political.

Washington cannot force the I.A.E.A to repeal its resolutions, but it could perhaps pressure allied countries to do this as part of a comprehensive deal with Iran.

10. Termination of all United Nations Security Council resolutions against Iran.

There is no way we are going to agree to those.
Correct. Hopefully, this pause will end in a few days.

Would you like to make a gentleman's bet on whether the Times reporting is accurate?
To do so, you'll have to either copy-paste the full NYT article of find a no 'pay to view' link.
A gentleman won't hide behind a limited access source.

IIRC, the 'last'(prior) regime was the Shah, 47 years ago, and yes that definitely was a reasonable regime.
Probably why the Islamists and Jihadis overthrew it.
