Trump has always said he's a Christian. So this isn't news. But does it even matter? I mean my God, we have a foreigner Muslim as President right now. So I would say pretty much anything goes at this point. I'm actually just happy we're gonna at least have an actual American as President this time around. Not a single one of my evangelical friends believes this. They are struggling to decide how to vote- since they disagree with Hillary on policy, but do not consider Trump to either be a real conservative or an evangelical, and not necessarily even a real Christian.

It is really odd to me that so many Conservatives vow that President Obama cannot be a Christian but just accept that Donald Trump- adulterer and married three times- is a Christian- despite his apparent discovery of his Christianity only when he decided to run for office.

Trump spent a lot of time trying to cultivate well known evangelical leaders- and it does seem to have paid off for him.
