Presidents can legally give themselves all the permanent copies of any classified docs they want.
Read Executive Order 13526 by Obama in 2009.
Trump not only violated no law, but the president is the arbitrary source of all classified doc authority.

They need Trump to still deny 2020 was legitimate to deny them credibility when the mountain of evidence soon comes forth on how it was stolen, just as they needed to blame Trump for J6 to cover for the stolen election which prompted the protest as well as to give them something to hang on Trump supporters to counter 2020's Floyd riots so they can claim that BOTH sides do crazy stuff!
