Zone1 How Do You Approach Faith?

However, one can see the results of faith.

Totally agree....and that is when faith starts to transition.

We are no longer totally dependent upon what we can't see.....because we do see it directly or indirectly. And that becomes part of us and "knowledge" or "stature" grows. And we don't need as much faith.

It's a process.

'Faith' and 'Religion' are in two different places in the dictionary

and for good reason.....

I've faith despite religion , not because of it

You over estimate your importance
Laughing to the fullest extent possible. (And all who know me would be laughing as well.)

God cares about things even smaller than humans. It is one of the many truly amazing qualities/attributes that are his.

You over estimate your importance
You are contradicting what you said in post #8 that god wants you to believe in yourself. Which is it?

Are you Jewish? I've never met a Jew who spells out "god."

Something is not right with this guy.

There is belief in yourself and expecting others to believe in you. Efficacy.

Its a long story
It's a yes, I am or no, I'm not or I was but I am not now. That doesn't seem very long to me. There is something odd about you. I haven't quite figured it out but I have it narrowed down. You want to give the impression of being Jewish but you don't seem to understand the beliefs of that faith. So I'm not surprised you are dodging a fairly straightforward question regarding your faith.

I seem to recall you claiming you were a druid. Was that in jest? Or is that true?

Druids have the best parties. You have no idea what Judaism is all about. You believe on the Christian distortion of Genesis

15th post
Faith is an important part of the human psyche.

Can you build a church in Saudi Arabia today?
Don't know.

I do know that the muslims constructed a mosque at the same intersection as my son's church. They held and open house and later invited the community to some kind of feast (can't recall). My DIL indicated it was great experience and that they were kind. If they blow up my son's building, I'll let you know.
