A large quantity of his wealth is in his equity in Tesla. If that stock price falls, so does his enormous wealth.

I HATE Teslas...but they are extremely popular where I live in SW PA. I curse at them every day. Just this morning I was behind one in traffic near a stop sign and intersection. The rear lights in that thing were crazy, randomly flashing between orange and red. Fo no apparent reason the left-turn blinker went sporadically on and off again and again...but the car went straight at the stop sign. Last year at a Tesla charging station at a local Target, a guy was sitting in his Tesla when it suddenly took off full tilt through the parking lot and dove into a creek. The guy was DRT. No explanation whether it was HIM having a medical emergency and maybe hitting the accelerator...or if the Tesla was having a medical emergency!

You could pay me to drive a Tesla.
Personally, I drive a VW....the ORIGINAL Swastikar!

I don't get why people are saying Tesla is crashing. The price is still overvalued. I don't see why it should worth more than GM or Toyota when Tesla sells a fraction of the cars those two sell monthly and annually.

I never really wanted a Tesla before because I don't really buy into the save the planet nonsense and too many wealthier, high brow Democrats were driving them. I am now intrigued. If it becomes a symbol of definitely NOT a Democrat, I will be first in line. Maybe these high brow wealthy Democrats can join their less fortunate liberal brethren and buy a Prius.
