Of course. I found it to be true the day after I graduated.

I was a jock and football was my sport. I played varsity ball three of those years and started my junior and senior year and then track in the spring.

When I wasn't doing that, I was doing full time work on the family farm.

Tailback (we ran the I) for the first three years and fullback my senior year. I was the fastest guy on the team, but I couldn't make a cut to save my life. I liked hitting people head on, so fullback was probably where I should have been the whole time.

I didn't have the high school experience. I dropped out of school after only 1 month into the tenth grade. I lived and worked on a farm until I was old enough to join the Marine Corps where I got my GED. A few decades later, I went back to school and received both an MBA and JD.
