I guess if I were a God, I'd understand everything God did.

Maybe if God had not given us the United States and the colonies were still a part of the British Emplre, those slaves would still be in chains.

Could be, that is why God gave us an unexpected upset victory over king George, and then about a hundred years later gave the republicans up the north an upset victory over the much more militaristic democrats of the south.

That's just one of an infinite number of possible reasons that God may have had. it isn't something I stress out about. Because if I need to know I will find out soon enough.

Except where it was highly profitable, such as in the persian gulf, the protectorates in hong kong, parts of india and african protectorates.

So we have no reason to think they would not have allowed it in the American colonies if God had not given us this great nation.
