When I started, all the Colonels and Generals were white males. Females were just starting to be accepted at West Point and there was outrage.
By the time I retired seven years ago, I worked for many blacks, Hispanic and female Colonels and Generals. I found them all to be highly motivated and qualified
When I left, we were led by a female Two Star General who I thought did an outstanding job.

If they're not willing to change with the new vision of our modern military, then they must go. The military works on chain of command. You don't have to agree with your superior, but you do have to follow his orders....
