Before I deployed to the Persian Gulf, I had to get the anthrax shot. It was three shots over six months IIRC.

The second shot turned my entire left arm deep red. It did that to a lot of the guys.

Looked it up George Washington ordered all his soldiers to be vaccinated against smallpox in 1777. Vaccinations have a long history in maintaining military readiness. Thank GOD !

I was on active duty for 20 years. We lived in very close quarters, and when one man caught a cold, we all caught a cold. In damp and frigid environments, that was bad enough. I once had a chest cold so bad I began coughing up blood.

The last thing our troops need is the flu virus adding to their problems.

When I retired, I made the mistake of not getting the flu vaccine my first year as a civilian. As luck would have it, I caught the flu. The real deal that put me in the hospital.

The admitting nurse said, "A lot of people THINK they have the flu. YOU have the flu!"

Troops are going to die because of the colossal moronic pandering crap these idiots do.
