Annual Flu Vaccine No Longer Required for U.S. military, Hegseth Says

I swear, the people Trump hires brainstorm every day trying to figure out what new incredibly ignorant and stupid things they can do.

I was on active duty for 20 years. We lived in very close quarters, and when one man caught a cold, we all caught a cold. In damp and frigid environments, that was bad enough. I once had a chest cold so bad I began coughing up blood.

The last thing our troops need is the flu virus adding to their problems.

When I retired, I made the mistake of not getting the flu vaccine my first year as a civilian. As luck would have it, I caught the flu. The real deal that put me in the hospital.

The admitting nurse said, "A lot of people THINK they have the flu. YOU have the flu!"

Troops are going to die because of the colossal moronic pandering crap these idiots do.

Annual flu vaccine no longer required for U.S. military, Hegseth says

The military will no longer require U.S. troops to receive the annual flu vaccine, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Tuesday, rolling back what he described as an “overly broad” mandate that had been in place for seven decades.

“We’re seizing this moment to discard any absurd, overreaching mandates that only weaken our war-fighting capabilities,” Hegseth said in a video posted to his social media channels.

"Weaken our war-fighting capabilities." It just doesn't get any ignorant or dumber than that.

.
Absolutely insane

Of course they can as long as they're safe. These mRNA injections aren't safe.
They work effectively enough. The risks are far outweighed by the benefits. That's been roven. Your opinion has not. The flu vaccines are based on.old technology not mRNA advances.

Unheard of in this day and age.

The good news is, they will still be paid.
Not acceptable to refuse. Article 92; UCMJ. Hegseth is violating that regulation. Sad example of leadership in the military.

Good thing it's not mandatory any longer.

It's not acceptable to force medical procedures on others.
