A generation ago, you would have never had the opportunity for that level jobs. I saw female college graduates in Secretarial positions
I saw the beginning of Affirmative Action and it was ugly. People were put into jobs they were not prepared for and they were not accepted by their peers.
It took about a decade for people to succeed in those positions. Now, nobody thinks twice

I got those jobs a generation ago without any help from affirmative action. I don't accept that you have to lose a generation of people in jobs where they are unprepared for, unqualified, incapable of doing. And those who are prepared, qualified, capable are equally punished because their coworkers never accepted they got their job via merit but rather via affirmative action quotas.
