Zone1 Hebrews 1:8 says Jesus is God

To be sure, don't you find quoting a book as its own source of authority and corroboration to be just a bit of a logical fallacy?
You misunderstanding what the book is. It’s spiritual information facts written down from God to apostle. Paul (the writer) received his message from God and wrote it down for others to have this specific knowledge. The authority is God and Paul, not the book.

I doubt I misunderstand much. I went to school for God for many years and was taught under the tutelage of someone a lot more knowledgeable than just the local minister.

But that is the point I was making. All you have (to show a non-believer such as an atheist) is the word of a book (The Bible) to tell you its authority is God himself (or Paul, not that you even know who or what Paul was other than for the claims in said book). There is no external, independent third source to corroborate any of that other than to just take everything it says on faith. Just sayin'.

Why do you like to slander me? I never said a thing about killing anyone. Apologize or I’ll have to complain to the site authorities.
You quoted the bible but You left off the bible verse about homosexuals being an abomination and deserving of death.

Can you quote these verses in scripture?
Yes. 1+1+1=3. Simple. 3≠1. Simple. There is no such thing as an unequalled coequal God in three persons.

"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them;" Exodus 20:3-5

"God is Spirit" John 4:24 (Spirit by definition is incorporeal, having no visible shape or material form) "The Spirit alone gives life; the flesh is of no avail. the WORDS that I have spoken to you are both Spirit and life."Jn 6:63

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen" 1Tim 1:17

"You cannot see my face; for no man shall see me, and live" Exodus 33:20

“To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One." Isaiah 40:25

"To whom will you liken me and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be alike? Isaiah 46:5

"For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods," Psalm 135:5

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," Isaiah 55:8-9

“There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God” 1 Samuel 2:2

"You are great, O LORD. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you" 2 Samuel 7:22

“All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:6-8

"You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully." Deut. 4:15

There were non-Christian historians which recorded that the first Christians worshipped Jesus as God.

  • Josephus:
Josephus, a Jewish historian, mentions Jesus in his writings, including a reference to the belief in his resurrection.

  • Tacitus:
The Roman historian Tacitus mentions a figure named "Christus," who was executed under Pontius Pilate. Tacitus also mentions that this figure was the founder of a movement that spread beyond Judea and even to Rome, which suggests that the resurrection of Christ, and his claimed divinity, was a key belief that spread among the followers of this movement.

  • Pliny the Younger:
Pliny the Younger, a Roman official, wrote a letter to Emperor Trajan describing the practices of early Christians, including their belief in the resurrection of Christ.

  • Other references:
There are other references to Jesus and the early Christians in Roman and Jewish history. For example, the historian Thallus and the chronographer Phlegon are mentioned by Origen and Julius Africanus, respectively. While their writings are not fully preserved, they provide further evidence that the existence of Jesus and his followers was known to people other than Christians.

That just goes to show that from the beginning many didn't know what Jesus meant by the nutty things he said.

"But they did not understand what this meant. It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask him about it". Luke 9:45

"The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about." Luke 18:34

"But they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him" Mark 9:32

"How can you fail to see that I WAS NOT SPEAKING ABOUT BREAD? Be on your guard, I said, against the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. Then they understood that they were to be on their guard, not against bakers bread, but the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees." Matthew 16:11

Here Jesus clearly established that the word "bread" coming out of his mouth was a metaphor for teaching. The real presence of Jesus is in his teaching, Words that he received from God like manna from heaven that became his "flesh", the Body of his teaching. It has nothing to do with an iniquitous bread and wine ritual in a church.

:wine:

Now "WE" all know.

There it is in a box wrapped up in colorful paper with pretty little bow on top. A gift given for the life of the world.

Incorrect. It shows that the resurrection changed things.

We already went through this and you ran away. Do we need to do it again?

When Jesus was arrested the apostles ran away and hid. The apostles became emboldened and empowered after Jesus' resurrection and Ascension. Jesus' resurrection provided a strong foundation for the church and a powerful message of hope and witness. After Jesus appeared to them and shared his message, they were no longer scattered, fearful, or in doubt, but rather were filled with confidence and a renewed sense of purpose.

Here's why the resurrection emboldened the apostles:
  • A Foundation for Belief:
The resurrection gave them a concrete reason to believe in Jesus and his teachings, turning them from doubters into faithful followers.

  • Renewed Purpose and Mission:
The resurrection transformed them into powerful witnesses, giving them a sense of mission to share the good news with the world.

  • Empowerment by the Holy Spirit:
Jesus promised them that they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit, which would empower them to witness "to the ends of the earth". This promise was fulfilled on Pentecost, giving them the ability to speak in various tongues and perform other miraculous works.

  • Increased Confidence:
The resurrection gave them the confidence to publicly proclaim their faith, even in the face of opposition and persecution.

  • Shift in Perspective:
They went from being in a state of sorrow and fear to one of joy and hope, understanding that Jesus was indeed the Messiah and that his death had been a sacrifice for their sins.

And this little piggy goes we we we... all the way to destruction.

"Many will be purged, purified and refined, making their robes shining white, but the wicked will continue in wickedness; and none of the them will understand, only those who have insight will understand." Dan 12:10

The Father himself is speaking in Hebrews 1 and says in verse 8 that Jesus, His Son, is to be called God as well. Now, Colossians 2:9 makes sense. "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." Verse 8 then says not to follow the philosophy and vain deceit after the traditions of men. This means to only follow prophets and apostles who teach through the spirit of God and not the secular non-prophets of the Unitarians like Jehovah Witnesses and their non-prophet so called scholars.
It has already been conceded by Christians that the bibles are not the word of the god.

Proclaiming anything in the bibles to be true, is now conditional on that concession.

"Many will be purged, purified and refined, making their robes shining white, but the wicked will continue in wickedness; and none of the them will understand, only those who have insight will understand." Dan 12:10
Then you should be worried for your soul. Leviticus 18:22.

Worry about yourself and your children. You have set aside the Law of my God and turned to a lifeless piece of bread for spiritual life, and teach others to do the same, which amounts to intentional murder. Genesis 3:14
