Healthcare Premiums Soar

On the bright side, since i've got my medicare card they'll happily give me crack to stfu and go away...... ~S~

No, I have long proposed UHC.

That's not a plan. It's just "people should have health care"

Does that mean we keep our private heath care system and the Government just foots the bill? Can people still have their own insurance and thus there is a wide disparity of care depending on how much money you have or does everyone just get in line and they get what they get?

Does that mean the Federal Government takes over the entire healthcare system making all the doctors, nurses and everyone associated with it a Federal employee or contractor? Can people still have their own insurance and thus there is a wide disparity of care depending on how much money you have or does everyone just get in line and they get what they get?

How are you proposing to pay for UHC? Like I said earlier you are signing up to add well over 2 trillion dollars to the budget. Where is that money coming from?

Does the Federal Government take of the Pharma industry as well or does that stay private?
Present these solutions and I'll consider them.

Pretty simple solution. The Government gets out of the providing healthcare business. Healthcare costs are outpacing inflation by wide margins. Why? Because the Government dumping unrestrained amounts of money into it. Same with college tuition. Same with the cost of the military. Same with essentially any industry the Government does this with. They take away all incentive for the field to reduce or control costs through efficiency or innovation.

You disagree with my questions? Or you dont have any answers because you've never actually thought this through other than it feeling good to say "people should have healthcare"?

You disagree with my questions?

You simply repeated the false narratives already covered and solutions that already didn't work.

Other countries can figure it out but sadly we can't.

When you don't actually add something new to the conversation don't expect me to reply.

Which “false narratives”. I asked you questions about your proposal.
Other countries can figure it out but sadly we can't.
And you can’t articulate it.

Again asked you to clarify what you are proposing.

Universal health care.

I agree with that! It's why people in other countries live longer even though we have the best healthcare.
If you compare the obesity problem in the US to nearly every other country in the world it pretty much tells the story, but we'll continue to feed 400 pounders because they are unable to work. SMH.

UHC is not an answer. It is nothing more than parasites wanting someone else to pay for their health insurance. How about this. If you are over what is universally considered a healthy weight--you get no health insurance until your weight is within guidelines? We are the most obese country in the world that figures the population needs to be fed by the government.

That is the answer to your questions. That is what I propose.
Oh so if I say Mumbo Jumbo as my solution to the healthcare problem everyone should just accept that and not ask questions. Got it.

Covered many times already. I'm not interested in your false narratives either. If you have nothing new to add, simply don't bother.
How much do you weigh? Why is it so important to you that MY tax $$$ purchase YOUR health insurance. I pay for my own and I'm not asking for anyone else to pay for it---kind of like the food I eat. I pay for that without your help as well.

That's a really great plan!

That is correct. And, unfortunate. When they pretty much only had major medical, it worked out well. But, with the combination of health insurance big money and the government subsidies and regulations, it's mostly unaffordable unless you are healthy. With that said, I wonder if people would change their lifestyles to be healthier if they couldn't afford insurance or free healthcare through Medicaid?
For fifty years people have been following the fantasy the health care should be free. That's why it costs so much.
