Zone1 Have we lost The Bible Story?

Since Christ was crucified God has been building up the church of Christ while at the same time punishing the Jews. If that's "spending time", it's sure not quality time.

Christianity didn't evolve from Judaism. It is the antithesis of Judaism.
Matthew 5:

17 The Fulfillment of the Law.“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them. 18 Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single letter,[e] not even a tiny portion of a letter, will disappear from the Law until all things have been accomplished. 19 Therefore, whoever breaks even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever observes these commandments and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 I tell you, if your righteousness does not exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Diaspora, persecution, hatred, death, as prophesied.
This describes the bigotry and hatred of mankind towards God's people and the people faithful to Him. It is not a description of God or even of "punishment".

"Judaism" is a corruption of the Law and the prophets. Christ told the Pharisee Judaizers, "You make the Law of no effect by your traditions."

Can you explain why people who don't know anything about Jews and perhaps have never met one, despise them? Christians are now God's people. The Jews are estranged.

Really? It says that?

Because I seem to recall the phrase "all nations" mentioned a couple of times.
There are two 'peoples' in the world. The seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. Jesus identified some of the Pharisees as the seed of the devil, "You are of your father the devil." Whoever is 'antiChrist' is the seed of the devil, whether they know it or not.

God will call his people out of all the nations in the church age. All will be his in the resurrection, not before.

"Judaism" can't corrupt anything - for The Law and The Prophets ARE Judaism.

In order to understand what you wrote you would need to understand the history of the time period. Several hundred years had passed since the last Prophet of the Old Testament taught.

In that time period, The religious leaders added hundreds of their own "rules" and "laws" making the religion especially difficult for the average lay person (sinners). For the affluent, "The Righteous" it wasn't nearly as challenging for they would have had better access to education, training and could afford the various expenses related to "making oneself clean" and the various sacrifices, costs, etc

Hence the reason Jesus came for "The Sinners" not the "Righteous".

You are reading allegorical accounts literally.

written by the crucifiers - never spoken by jesus ...

they crucified jesus for their and the 1st century events refutation of judaism their false commandments et al used to persecute and victimize the innocent.

That too, but why?
Just as light has no fear of dark, good has no fear of evil. Dark cannot exist in light; evil cannot exist in good. Therefore the only options dark and evil have for their own existence is to utterly destroy what brings light and to utterly destroy what is good.

Catholicism does not fear Judaism because both faiths are of the light. There is a stumbling block between these two faiths: Jewish faith is clear: One God who is One being. With absolute faith in this, they can only see Jesus as a human, born of a woman, and therefore a second being. God is ONE. Catholicism agrees with this but teaches while God is definitely ONE, One God cannot be equated to one human. When it comes to God, we are speaking of an entirely different form of Being/being--and Father-Son-Holy Spirit accurately/better describes One God in a way humans can comprehend.

Catholics understand two things (set forth in the Catechism of the Catholic Church): First, God has an everlasting Covenant with those living the Jewish faith. Second, no one can/should interfere with the Conscience of another human being. We can teach. We can explain. However if someone of the Jewish faith is sincere that they cannot in good conscience see/accept One God as Father-Son-Holy Spirit, this MUST be respected. The closest we can come to each other (perhaps) is knowing each faith can grasp the One God as Creator-Word-Spirit, but we also have to accept that Jews cannot--in good conscience--see a human as Word; and for Jews to understand that for whatever reasons (in good conscience), Christians do.

If your religion feels Judaism must be destroyed for it to survive, then it is closer to darkness/evil that must destroy light/good in order to survive. Think about that. And think that what is light and what is good are comfortable joining in with other good and other light.

Judaism has expunged Jesus Christ from their bible and religion and replaced him with meaningless festivals.

God destroyed Judaism in 70 A.D. The Jews dug it up and continue to practice it. As far as God is concerned it's dead and buried, if the New Testament writings are to be believed.

Yes. Bigotry.

oh, the hereditary idolatry of abraham the apartheist, the liar moses and their false commandments et al - gentiles as a reference ...

the current megalomaniacs of the middleast ...

- the lack of goodness is what blinds many people.

So what?

What do you think Jesus meant when he said, "Unless your righteousness surpasses those of the Pharisees and Scribes, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven,"

Jesus already knew his teachings would lead to persecution and potentially an eventual break from Judaism - BUT it wouldn't be Christians who "broke away" it would be the religious leaders (Pharisees/Scribes) who would push the Christian sect out.

What is more spiritually righteous, in your opinion? To rebel against and refute a religion or to stay faithful to Judaic teachings and "continue in your truth" but to eventually be "forced out?

Judaism was never destroyed, is a living faith, and is producing fruit. Think! If Judaism died in 70 A.D., we would not be discussing its current existence today, two thousand years later.
