Tennessee, apparently not our biggest and brightest state, they went to execute some guy for a capital crime, but when they went to give him the lethal injection, they couldn't find his veins, so they gave up and will try to kill him again a year from now!

The guy is being executed for a kidnapping/murder case that happened way back in 1994, 32 years ago. The guy maintains that he is innocent.

My years as a phlebotomist tell me this is probably not true.

They should give him a lethal dose of fentanyl, because we know that it works, because that it what kill George Floyd.

Great idea. I've read many reports that these lethal injections are expensive and problematic, they don't always work, don't work well, or take too much time. Apparently fentanyl is both pleasant and effective, people are dropping like flies just eating a gummy and they want to do it!

Apparently it is hard NOT to OD on the stuff.

Make sure he drinks a lot of water before the execution next year. Fill up those veins all nice and pokey.
