So you’re ready to kill those you feel violate your moral pact with god in order to appease him? It's a moral issue between society and God.

Married women who are Progs? Who have careers perhaps. White Prog women. Insufferable. We live on the earth for 80 years or so. Most employment is not that important. We denied tens of millions of jobs to men with many of them under educated and becoming bitter using criminal ways to survive. That has affected women also. In inner cities especially. Most abortions are had by married women with children. In any case its none of our business.

Women don’t have the right to do anything without a man’s permission. It’s allowed if the man says it’s allowed. Why don’t you read up on it?Abortion is allowed in Islam.
Why don't you read up on women's rights in Islam. The US didn't catch up until the late 1950s.

A Republican lawmaker in Texas has introduced a bill that would allow the death penalty for women who have abortions.
“Today, I filed HB 3326 to Abolish Abortion in Texas,” Texas State Rep. Bryan Slaton (R) said on Twitter.
“The bill will end the discriminatory practice of terminating the life of innocent children, and will guarantee the equal protection of the laws to all Texans, no matter how small," he said.
Under HB 3326, a person who has an abortion or performs an abortion could be charged with assault or homicide, which is punishable by death, the Texas Tribune reported.
Slaton’s legislation also says that certain parties may have to testify in cases of death or “bodily injury to an unborn child,” and offers immunity to those that do.
The legislation also directs the state’s attorney general to “direct a state agency to enforce those laws, regardless of any contrary federal statute, regulation, treaty, order, or court decision,” the newspaper reported.
The bill would also ban abortions at fertilization, whereas most abortions in Texas are prohibited after 20 weeks.
Slaton’s proposal is not the first time a Texas lawmaker has proposed the death penalty for abortion. Texas state Rep. Tony Tinderholt (R) introduced a similar measure in 2019 classifying abortion as a homicide.

What a load of garbage. The pro-abortion position is the most morally and intellectually bankrupt position on the planet. Nothing more than self-centered hypocrites who feel they have the right to murder human beings only after they themselves have benefitted from being born. The reality on the issue of abortion is akin to gun control, both are wedge issues and both are issues the GOP has manipulated to convince the biddable: Two things to consider: The GOP has no moral compass, and the GOP is hypocritical.
The Republican Pols led the sheep on the issue of abortion, the GOP doesn't care when children are shot to death in a classroom. They support the private sector, examples of the coal and oil industries, putting profit before the planet (just ask Ida) and guns in the hands of the disaffected.
Consider this thread, killing a women for having an abortion and not punishing men.
Texas has voted to overrule R. v. W. and deny abortion when the woman was raped or was molested by a her father, brother or uncle (any relative). Social Conservatives (mostly) reject age appropriate curriculum on human sexuality - how stupid is that. And they seek to deny contraception as part of health insurance. Really, not only do they not have an ethical stance on abortion, they blame the women taking misogyny back to the 4th century.
On September 1, 666 new laws went into effect in Brick-Red Texas. But somehow the GOP represents "smaller government"....Smaller, less intrusive forms of govt. is what the Repubs have advertised for years.
I did not make the nation as it is now. Back when i was a teenager fifty years ago I did support rights for people. It was and is the implementation of everything that is screwed up. If I was younger today, why in hell would I want children in this dystopian world that has been created? It is clear that to many Americans are into themselves more then what is good for the nation. We screwed up an idea situation where one person could work and purchase a home and/or live in an apartment with a spouse and children. What got dicey was a divorced or unmarried woman with children and those who would not marry for any reason and thought they were put out in society. If the man was the provider he may have paid a heavy price for divorce. So we tried to fix those things.Married women who don't want or can't afford more children. How many children do you have?

The dems starting point for this "negotiation" should be to offer the woman seeking an abortion the keys to the city and a million bucks if the repugs' starting position is the death penalty. The idea here is to NEGOTIATE with the other side and not say "my way or the highway".
Negotiate, give and take and reaching across the aisle for common ground is what our country is built on.
Wow, you lefties really hate it when people actually practice democracy.Texas again? What is wrong with these people?
