Have you seen how much the German system costs? Less than one of the more expensive Senate seats.
Tax money, no limits on donations and somehow campaigns that are much cheaper than in many other countries — DW examines how German parties get their money.
www.dw.com
" In 2017, the last time Germany held a parliamentary election, parties spent €92 million ($109.6 million) combined on their
election campaigns, according to the Federal Statistical Office."
The US has a system that the rich love because they can buy success. Why the people allow this to happen is not sure (actually it is, ignorance is by far the largest reason, I've spoken about this many times on here and the usual response is "this isn't Germany, if you like it so much, go live there" nonsense). But people allow a shit system, the rich make the most of it, and the poor get fucked up the ass on a daily basis.
Literally Musk is funding Trump because if Trump wins, Musk expects Trump to give him tax cuts so large that Musk will make a million times more than he spent.
