Generating electricity for cities in cities

no mechanical energy moves a weight unless your counting friction. If you want, I could draw a box and a guy moving the box with arrows pointing the direction the box is moving?

We're counting friction ... is called "The Third Law of Thermodynamics" ... this will be covered in your Middle School science class as soon as you get there ...

You're ignoring friction?
It's no wonder you're always wrong.

No, they are doing it because they are being PAID by taxpayer dollars to do it.
Just like the fossil fuel companies are being paid tax money to pollute our water and air. Except the fossil fuel companies are getting a lot more.

How

Government subsidies for fossil fuels have been a significant part of the energy landscape, often favoring these fuels over renewable energy sources. However, the trend is shifting towards more support for renewable energy. Here's a comparison of the subsidies:

Hey Moron ... Burns has a population of 2,700 ... Harney County itself is the size of Massachusetts and a total population of seven thousand ... I've lived there myself ...

AND they have hydropower out the ass as well ... the stupidity here is Greater Metro Portland is HALF the state's population ... the trunk lines down to California run right through Bend and Klamath Falls ... BPA powers everything from Sacramento to Seattle back East to Bozeman ... besides, if you'd ever slither out of the basement you live in long enough you might have known Bend already has 100 MW of "name-plate" solar production ... still can't use Google? ... here let me help {Cite}] ...

AI has you trained to demand more energy ... energy you don't need ... my comment was about roof-top solar ... that's how hateful you are ...
LOL

How

The power generated by a rooftop solar panel installation in Portland, Oregon, can vary based on several factors, including the size of the roof, the orientation of the panels, and the amount of sunlight available. On average, the average-sized roof in the U.S. can generate around 21,840 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of solar electricity annually. However, real-world constraints like roof space, sunlight exposure, and equipment specifications play a significant role in the actual generation potential.
In Oregon, the average cost per watt for solar panel installations is approximately $2.67. The payback period for solar installations in Oregon is typically around 9.29 years, and over 25 years, Oregon homeowners with solar panels can avoid $35,464 in total utility costs on average.
For a more personalized estimate, it is recommended to use the Energy Trust of Oregon Solar Cost Calculator to estimate installation costs based on your roof, energy use, rates, and available tax credits and incentives.

And the closest thing I have to a home town is about 83 miles north of Burns. Burns happens to be one of my favorite places. There are vast areas of nothing but sage that could be used for the generation of power East of Bend. Much of it is BLM and Forest Service land, and data centers could be sited in places like Burns. South of Burns has both great wind and solar potential. And the jack rabbits, antelope and deer would love the shade.

AI Overview

The incomplete statement, "
We're counting friction ... is called "The Third Law of Thermodynamics"" is incorrect. The Third Law of Thermodynamics is related to entropy and absolute zero, not friction.

converting to solar reduces waste heat and causes a cooling affect at solar farms.

Laughable nonsense wind turbines are being trin down and canceled all over the nation. Fossil fuels and nuclear are the energy of the future and thats where we are heading today. Renewables cost so much they have t be supported by billions of tax money.

Allowing oil companies to deduct actual business expenses isn't a subsidy.

The AI debaters ... totally useless now ...

3LoT states that total entropy, or randomness, of the universe is always increasing ... ∆S > 0 ... always ... friction is a part of that process ... friction specifically is what destroys all these perpetual motion machines we see on Youtube and why they always fail, usually right after the battery goes dead ...

... and waste heat is the very epitome of entropy ... the perfect example of Third Law machinations ...

ReinyDays Absolute zero cannot exist as stillness. Instead, extreme cold causes matter to restructure: atoms cease as atomic units and transform into galaxies, where infinite core heat reasserts itself at a larger scale.

see my AI functions on the logic I put into it, I suppose when a person like you plugs in there ideas....well the ole saying.....garbage in, garbage out

I don't use AI ... I rely on formal education ...

AI gives you the answers you want to hear ... that's how it's programmed ... and it will lie to please you ... once you're old enough to be interested in girls, you'll get a better idea of how that works ...

That said, I have been known to ask AI to solve cubic equations and the like ... just because that's a lot of algebra that AI can do ... RELIABLY ... but I absolutely double check the answer before I would post the results to a political message board, especially the ones I flaunt my math skills on ... like this board ...

If your math is wrong, then you are wrong ... your math isn't even wrong ... "does not exist under the real numbers" ...

neat attempt to type really fast to try to rebuttle my arguement against you, when that happens one trails off into personal experience that is fairly unrelated. neat.

I don't read all your posts ... are you arguing against Natural Law? ... come with citations, or go pound sand ...

what now?......what IS it now?......dang.......so even though you've.........these........standards of English........you won't.........put shoes on..........that are..........not quite your.......aww heck nevermind I bet you can't waste time when you are superhero to those ten kids of yours, raisin em and seeing they get through college which you never had the opportunity to do, but maybe one them....
