Fully Vaccinated Bill Maher tests positive for COVID

LOL, these vaccines don’t even work.

Maher, 65, experienced what scientists have come to call a “breakthrough case,” in which a fully vaccinated person comes down with COVID. The phenomenon is very rare.

His chances of surviving are greater because he has the vaccine. Good luck Bill. If Trump can survive it anyone can.

Lardass had 7 doctors using experimental steroids on him, that's why he recovered so quickly. Shame they didn't just ship him to Walter Reed and give him the same care as everyone else.

8 vaccinated Yankee players tested positive as well, asymptomatic.

The whole team and workers got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

J&J in trials was 72% effective of not getting the virus after vaccination, 28% that tested positive after immunization,

100% of those 28% with positive covid tests after the vaccine did not die and did not get hospitalized.

The Yankees team results fit right in with the norm, of their trials.

About 76% of their team members did not get infected after vaccination, and 24%, the 8 positives are asymptomatic and or, not really sick.

The ignorance on display here......................... People can question things but first they need to understand how things work before exposing their ignorance.

No one has EVER claimed with any vaccine that you will never contract whatever it is that you are being vaccinated against. Getting a flu vaccine was never a guarantee you would not get the flu. It's always been possible you might. The vaccine simply makes it less likely and less severe if you do get the flu.

With fewer getting the flu it also decreases the chances of it spreading.
Not

Overstated. If you have MMR vaccination, you practically have no chance of getting measles, mumps, or rubella. Its possible, but very rare. Your flu example isn’t quite analogous either. Flu vaccines target specific viruses and you have to get a little lucky to not get a different strain that might be in circulation, so lots of vaccinated people still get the flu because their vaccination targeted a different virus. The Covid vaccination should be more like the MMR - until new strains start circulating.

Not overstated but simply stated because it's a waste of time to go any further than that here.
I showed you that you haven't made a valid point, you won't defend it, and you claim others are ignorant. Funny and typical.
pknopp absoutely made a valid point, and burgermeister won't swallow his pride and lack of knowledge and admit it.
Again, saying something doesn't make it so, as much as you all would like it to be that way.

Oddly enough, normally you would think that it would be strange to be injected with a vaccine to immunize you and NOT test + for it!
The vaccine is a small piece of the virus. The PCR tests would evaluate for more than the gene in the vaccine. Moreover, the gene in the vaccine isn’t going to last long, it will be eliminated by your system after a short period.

So the vaccine is as effective as a car with square tires and whees.

It would be funnier if it wasn't so pathetic

Only sillies like you say that.

The vaccine, if you get infected or re-infected, will keep you out of the hospital and the morgue. That is super great. The great majority will not get infected again.

Actually, he got a treatment of Monoclonal Antibodies, which was not that available at the time for the public, and that is what cured him.... It can only be given in the hospital, intravenously.

Then when Chris Christy, and Giuliani caught covid from Trump, they both were immediately hospitalized and given the Monoclonal Antibody Therapy intravenously, they were cured as well, the following week....

All three men were at very high risk of dying from Covid, but because they received these antibody treatments EARLY it saved all of their lives.

Monoclonal Antibody therapy is widely available now to us everyday folks, so if you are at high risk, not vaccinated and test positive for covid,

ASK YOUR DOCTOR or if you don't have a doctor go to the emergency room, and INSIST on getting the treatment of Monoclonal antibodies..... You have to do this EARLY in to the infection! Later on in the infection period, they do not work.

This proves vaccines don't work....

However the fact we have a vaccine is one of the greatest medical breakthrus in scientific history and Trump doesn't get enough credit for it...

But still....vaccines don't work and its all a conspiracy for mind control and tracking devices and stuff...

I'm a Moderna gal! :)

But J&J is still doing 100% of what it was suppose to do, prevent dire sickness, and death!

That's what they say.

You people are talking in absolutes like this vaccine has been vetted, studied and approved by the FDA. Not that the FDA approval is proof positive of anything, they've unleashed a lot of harmful shit on the American public over the years.

This supposed miracle shot has been on the skin of this world for less time than the mold on food in some folks fridge, but I'm expected to roll out with every confidence in the world that I'll be fine with it now and that there will not be a side effect down the road.

The survival rate is huge and was before the vaccine was available. It's just not worth the risk to me. To ME. You are entitled to act on your own beliefs and so am I.

Because he couldn’t have been exposed before being vaccinated, pos. It’s also supposedly a symptomatic. Which no one said was impossible.

there truly isn’t anything you scum don’t lie about.
Lol, maybe you loons shouldn't of gave Biden credit for the vaccine.

Your specific point on the flu vaccines is correct. The flu vaccine has multiple flus in it, that it protects us from getting, the Hong Kong Flu, the Avian flu, the Spanish flu, etc etc....

And if a new strain of flu is missed in the flu cocktail vaccine given that flu season, then you can catch that new flu, even if you got your influenza vaccination.

Pfizer and Moderna do not work in the same fashion as a flu vaccination.

But, I believe the J&J VACCINE was created in the traditional fashion, as the influenza vaccines?

We give Biden credit for acquiring enough vaccines and distributing them to states, and getting them in to the arms of humans.

We do not give him credit for operation warp speed, which was all Trump admin, loosening federal regulations to expedite the vaccines.

No one has said getting the vaccine will guarantee you will not get the virus. Being that they note it's 76% or 85% or whatever it is should make that obvious.
