Cheering for the Rule of Law? Then help me out here gang. The Brady Rule was violated. Now, the normal remedy is to suppress the evidence that was affected by the Brady Rule. So all the evidence against Flynn is essentially inadmissible. This has been the Rule of Law since the 1960's. Not exactly a new rule. Not exactly something new here.
And it isn't new. The Prosecutors and Cops have been violating Brady regularly. So the Rule of law is that the rules do not apply to the Prosecutors. When they are caught the accused generally speaking ends up going free. But not in the case of Flynn, because he is a bad guy.
Now, speaking to the Rule of Law, help me out here, what happens when the Rule of Law is we declare you guilty do you still want a trial? Imagine it with your opponents in charge. Because the rules you trample to get your enemy today, will be used against you tomorrow.
