Florida restaurant owner posts sign asking Biden supporters to take their business elsewhere

As the majority in the United States, people of good conscience and compassion would be grateful if all right-wing extremists, who also own businesses, posted identical warning signs.

Understanding the political beliefs and prejudices of these business owners, before walking through the door, would demonstrate to the good people in this country that their dollars would be better spent elsewhere, and not mistakenly go to support the owner's questionable “values”.

Posting such warning signs offer Americans of good conscience and compassion the opportunity to bypass businesses that are ruled by racism, bigotry, homophobia, xenophobia, and misogyny, while enabling customers to locate establishments guaranteeing a cordial atmosphere for shopping, dining, etc.

Ms. Angie Ugarte, owner of DeBary Diner, is more than welcome to survive on the reduced income provided her by the like-minded, right-wing extremists she prefers.

Not me. I just believe in shopping where people want my business.
A few years ago there was an uproar because some bakery did not want to make a cake or cater for a gay wedding. To me, it was their right as it was their business. I am surprised they made such a big deal about forcing the issue, as I know gay people who are excellent cooks, and I am sure there were some up there that would have loved to get their gay wedding business.

Years ago, back in my long hair hippy days, probably before you were born, I stopped into a beer bar just off Hwy 70, just up from Happy Hollow, outside of Huntingdon, TN. I walked in, just to get a beer and see the place, ordered my beer at the bar, and lit up a smoke. It became readily apparent that if I stayed, I was going to get a haircut on the spot and an ass whipping to go with it, from the drunken rednecks in the bar with no complaints from the bar tender/owner. When they made their move, I broke beer bottle, backing out saying "I'm gone or cutting the motherfkn throat of the first one that gets close. I got out of there quick, hopped in my van and never looked back. I didn't call the Sheriff, contact the paper, or get some of my big as corn fed country boy hippy friends and go back to clean out the bar, to teach them the lesson that I would buy a beer and sit anywhere I joint I chose. I just spent my beer money elsewhere (where they wanted my business, after that on the way home from work, as I knew I was not wanted there. What's wrong with that?

As it should be. There are plenty of establishments where you can get what ever it is you want.

Luck had nothing to do with it.....most survive Covid without any intervention. And I btw researched----read that it was mostly a cold that goes for the lungs for most people---and I loaded up on cold medicines to try to keep my airways and lungs open and not flooding with fluid before even getting sick.

I am extremely anemic that the doctors have missed for a few years that are just now getting worked out...I made sure that I was eating healthy and taking vitamins as well....and I wash my hands which is still the best prevention against virus's and lowers most viral loads when done.

OH and I knew I was going to get the virus when I got it....my husband came home from a business trip infected by the VP of nursing at his work no less.....I knew the moment that I saw him that he had it. It had nothing to do with what I had done other than I couldn't kick him out of the house to avoid getting it. I knew I would get it from him...

I washed my hands and limited the viral load by cleaning and Bleaching (I like bleach for cleaning anyways)...I also maximized the time that I spent outside and got as much sun and fresh air as possible to again lower the viral load. I knew from nursing school training that opening windows (sitting outside) and getting sunlight does actually help humans fight off virus's by again LOWERING the VIRAL LOAD BEING Breathed in. Pity that many even in the medical field have forgotten this basic of Nightingale. Florida's sun and fresh air is likely saving people who would have died up north under the same conditions.

I am seeing certain groups get hit harder by the virus than others. I am seeing it ravage certain families....and I really think that it is a hygiene/weight/culture issue.

Yes and its the delta strain...if they had gotten the original strain last year, their bodies could have had a better chance at fighting off the infection and creating immunity against the new strains that are targeting younger people now. Virus's mutate in order to find new victims----we stupidly stopped the exposure to the less deadly strain for the young which now leaves them perfect and plentiful for the new more deadly strains that spread easier.

I can't help but think, that the vaccines are shit------and that the kids should be exposed to the original covid to develop immunity.
