It says that the protesters goaded (meaning to provoke or annoy someone into action) the officers, and then they emerged from the building. THEN the protesters tried to set fire to it. (operative word being tried, as it wasn't seriously damaged by the fires they TRIED to set)

From the way you've been posting, the building was set on fire with few or no ways to get out of it, possibly killing people by setting it ablaze. No, there wasn't any danger of people being burned alive in the building, this is just a bunch of hyperbole you are using to make it sound scarier. And, they were able to put out the fires that were started rather quickly resulting in little damage to the courthouse, other than broken windows and doors.

But, keep up with the hyperbole, bullshit and scary stuff if that's what helps you sleep at night.

This decision marks the first time since 1869 that a court has disqualified a public official under Section 3, and the first time that any court has ruled the events of January 6, 2021 an insurrection.
