I kind of figured it had to have been hit and damaged by the main tower collapses.


Yep. I've seen a lot of buildings dynamited; the twin towers collapsed from the top down--- there was no failure of the ground floors integrity until the upper sections hit it, it was not like the whole building dropped as one like in a demolition.

In fact, people in the fire escapes and ground floors were still running down them and out the doors as the buildings collapsed.

People who survived inside the buildings could hear the floors collapsing on top of them even as the part of their building was steady and stable--- no one reported seeing or hearing explosions going off in the central tower or saw or felt the building moving or collapsing around them until the structure above them came down on them.

That rules out a man-made demolition.

Well, I know where they would hide the explosives, the thing is, to install them would require closing these buildings for weeks, evacuating all people, and tearing stuff apart--- walls, decks, flooring, etc., drilling, running wires, etc., then repairing all the damage, patching holes, painting, cleaning up, and putting everything back. It is insane to think no one would notice, not to mention why these buildings had been closed.

Oh, the other thing--- even if all of this had been planned, the initial point of collapse for the Towers was at the points of impact; how could anyone have possibly known where the jets would hit the buildings to know where to set the detonations in advance?

They couldn't. The more you know, the more it is obvious that the conspiracy theories on 9/11 don't hold water.

I am quite surprised that so many respondents appear to accept the official line that office fires caused the collapse of WTC 7 on 9-11. I was watching live TV news when Larry Silverstein, WTC owner, stated that the Fire Dept. had just informed him that they were going to "pull" WTC 7. "Pull" is the term building demolition contractors use to describe the controlled demolition of a building. This is only one of the discrepancies which belie the official account. WTC 7 was struck by debris from the north tower when it collapsed and that's what started the fires. The collapse of the of south tower is on video from a lot of angles and there is no smoke anywhere near the bottom when it collapses. Dynamite kind of leaves evidence of smoke when it explodes.

That could have caused the fires but the fires sure as hell did not cause them to collapse,anybody who thinks thst has been smoking too much crack. What nobody has ever been able to explain is that there were other buildings much closer to the towers with ten times far more extensive damage done to them and far much worse severe fires yet those buildings remained standing so so much fornthe fires causing the collapse theory,again someone would have to be on crack to believe thst sense witnesses heard explosives from the basement same with the towers and the best architects and engineers in the world along with demolition experts said explosives brought them down.

Many prominent structures have FD pre plans , mostly how to evacuate and contain a fire. Part of this is shutting down any potential fuel or hazards such as electricity ,gas, etc accelerants . Whatever is a 'fire load' and/or hazmat is also a consideration.

That said, there are plenty of things that 'go boom', ammo for one is a rather unnerving sound , a BBQ gas tank as well, that said FF's know what they're hearing.

Sorry, but that was a whole lot of nothing. I saw nothing there to corroborate the claim of unusual detonations, in fact, video in "The Waving Woman" only further supports the fact that the buildings burned for an hour until they weakened and collapsed at the point of plane impact.
