Plainly Loyd could breath as he was speaking with a good volume at the time.

Yes; he could breathe. Not necessarily enough to keep his blood oxygen above 90% saturation but he could breathe; we won't know if it was enough because he's dead. It's not that breathing did him any good, though, because the oxygenated blood could not get to his brain because his carotid arteries are blocked. That he didn't know what was killing him doesn't mean he didn't know he was being killed or that he wasn't being killed. He was killed.

If that is the case, the coroner's report should support it.

He wasnt announced dead till at the hospital, but he had no pulse while being held down either, which could mean that it was just too low to be found manually.

I suspect he was probably dead before put in the ambulance.

The cop is better not being a cop anymore, and is likely going to go to prison for manslaughter.

Bluz, I didn't know the police were charged with also convicting people of crimes! Was this man even CHARGED? If not, then and until a judge says so, he hasn't broken any laws. Being arrested simply means were are arrested. And you can get arrested and into trouble just walking down the street minding your own business. People have been arrested just for being mistaken for someone else the police are after. People have been shot and killed in their beds just for being at the wrong address when the police got the address wrong and broke into the wrong house at the wrong location in the middle of the night to do a raid.

The perp was a LOSER, he resisted arrest in THIS scenario. And he had a rap sheet as long, or longer, than Ron Jeremy's dick. This perp was NO angel.

Interesting factoid in the report "while standing outside the car, Mr. Floyd began saying and repeating that he could no breathe" so, it appears he was having trouble breathing even before he was on the ground. Also the report shows that Mr. Floyd was refusing to get in the squad car, fought with officers and intentionally fell to the ground refusing to stand.

also there is this in the prosecutor statement: "Note: medical examiner says there are "no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation" but also says police restraint likely contributed to Floyd's death."
