Facts About Judaism

http://www.jewfaq.org/index.shtml

Many people know very little about Judaism. This site will answer most any questions you have.
Not all Jews do things exactly the same. There are 3 main denominations:Orthodox, Conservative and Reform. Orthodox are the most dedicated of the 3. Reform are the most casual.

Jews are a tiny minority. There are only 13 million Jews worldwide, which represents only 0.2% of the population.
Can't say the same for Muslims.
Course nobody tried to wipe them out of existence....which is the primary reason Israel exists in the first place.

Rabbi Ouri Sherki - The Holiday of Humanity

Certainly you’ve heard that the Torah tells of Noah exiting the ark on the 27th day of the 2nd month. The 2nd month, according to one tradition, is Mar?esvan. If so, the 27th of Marheshvan is the day that Noah exited the ark. And why should this be of significance to us? Essentially, on the 27th of Marheshesvan, when Noah exited the ark, a covenant was formed with all of humanity. And this is the covenant of the Seven Noahide Laws. And, more broadly, the covenant was formed between G-d and the entire of humanity. And this means that G-d decided to take custody over the history of mankind.

We also know that throughout history this Covenant - so says the Talmud and the Tana”KH (OT) - the Covenant between G-d and humanity was forgotten or, more accurately, was abandoned. That is to say, as the Sages said in the Talmud, that “they did not fulfill the Seven Noahide Laws”. We can say that those responsible to remind humanity of this covenant is the Nation of Israel. The Nation of Israel, on top of the Noahide Covenant, brings another covenant - and this is the covenant of [Mount] Sinai - and, since then, the responsibility of sharing the word of G-d in the world passed to the Israelite Nation. Therefore, we as the Nation of Israel are required to share the word of G-d to all of humanity.

We did this in many ways throughout history. During Biblical times, the Prophets spoke. They didn’t speak only to the Nation of Israel, we see in the words of the Prophets that they spoke to all of humanity. The Prophets even left the Land [of Israel]. The most famous one being Yonah the Prophet, though not the only one, who was sent to other nations to share the word of G-d.

I am 0.5% Ashkenazi Jewish as per the DNA test my sister had done. The one thing I'm interested in are the rulers of the Jews, and how membership in the learned elders of Zion is determined.

Sorry to break the news to you, but it's an IQ test.

My understanding is the UN helped create a state of Israel in 1947.
I don't like the fact that a Mosque is located in the temple mount in Jerusalem.
According to Islam....they feel they own the temple grounds because Muslims believe that they own the land wherever they pray.

That's just a common misconception.
The UN following previously ratified international law,
merely recognized the historic connection, and the right of Israel to re-constitute sovereignty.

At that time Israel was already a fully functioning state, minus couple administrative branches,
at a stage capable of achieving independence in short time, with or without the UN's declarations.

That was rather a declaration that for the first time proposed a creation of another Arab country,
in that land, so I'm not sure this was eventually "helpful".

Adam & Eve: The Whole Story Doesn't Make Sense, Until Now

How did he get within an hour? It doesn't make sense as there were things they did together. We go from Book 2 to Book 3. How did the serpent know where they were? Most people do not think it took very long for them to be intrigued by the Tree of Knowledge as it was in the middle of the garden, but there were things to do (like sex), other places to go, see, and explore. They were naked, but it was fine. I got things to do, places to go, and animals to meet.

Just think about it.

Adam and Eve weren't ready to have "their eyes opened".

Like to say, your six years old daughter is not ready to watch porno movies or to have sex, and so forth.

God never told them that the fruit of such a tree will be never eaten by them but to restrain of eating its fruit.

Eve felt something unusual thanks to the words of the snake, she now wishes to have wisdom, and started to pay attention to the fruit in a way to see it "attracted".

There is the story of the cat seeing the goldfish in the dish bowl and its color was attracted, the cat thought "it might test great". And when finally had the fish in its mouth found out the taste of that fish was terrible.

Then, Adam and Eve acted as two disobedient children.

What the consequences will be if two disobedient children obtain eternal life?

You tell me.

Having a limited amount of life, up to 900 years long ago, and up to 120 years today, and look how much damage we have caused to the environment and other animals. So, if we have eternal life with a mischievous hearth, with evil thoughts, then we have the whole eternity to invent things for destroying completely the entire planet, the entire galaxy, the whole creation.

Then, it makes sense that only the ones who prove they will act in good will, for them to obtain eternal life... and wisdom.

Fuck them and the horse they rode in on.
Easy, Adolph. Just kidding about the Adolph thing. Seriously, what could you possibly have against the Jews besides their tribal cliquish behavior and their propensity to act like assholes to outsiders.

Perhaps you would show us real life examples of this.
ron jerremy
Ron Jeremy...try the ENTIRE porn industry being run by them. All of the major porn studios are Jew owned.

What You say is a bit too complicated and subjective.

Look at this from the angle of Judaism, it's much simpler - the Tree of Knowledge entails death, the Torah is the Tree of Life.

The problem was not the eating of the fruit, according to Jewish law, Adam partially fulfilled a commandment, rather the problem was the order - first he should have solved the death issue then eat from the Tree of Knowledge.

G-d only warned of the consequences, but also said to eat and so to raise all creation and fruit of the Garden. Rabbi Friedman refers to it as Eve's personal choice for her children, it wasn't about G-d creating Adam to prevent him from enjoying the world He created for him, but to receive and enjoy all the gifts of G-d in the correct way it was intended.

Torah tells us that the day begins at evening.
Adam was the last creation at the end of the sixth day, and Eve was within Adam.

How did the serpent know?
In Hebrew Eve is 'Havah',
in Arameic serpent is 'Hiviyah',
and Adam is the living soul 'Nefesh Hayah'.

It's all pretty simple,
Eve was righteous, and the serpent, they're all Adam evolving...
- for Humanity to experience freedom of choice.
