but your are wrong, that's the problem.Go ask the people in the Current Events thread about the pedophilia story. Given its' popularity .........
Yes, I'm sure your relentless threads on the subject are making you very popular here.
Have you considered a switch to cannibalism or ritual human sacrifice as a way to be even more popular, though?
Shrugs. Rather be right than popular.
Considering I posted UC Davis and Harvard in the OP in reply to the popularity of a thread in Current Events (which had over 150 replies to it by the time I saw it) it seemed like a good idea for some basic info on pedophilia given the abundance of bad info in that thread up to that point.
Not helping kids repeating bad info all over the place.
I don't care about all the psychobabble or who put it out so they could get brownie points with some university; that's all BS. What I care about is the candy coating of something that is a harmful and disgusting practice. Trying to make it sound like they won't act on the fascination with children is in error because they will. They don't have to have a sexual encounter with a child to do harm. Child porn is proof of that. Labeling may help in the mental health profession sort things out but what the average person needs to know is this:
having sex with anyone under the legal age of consent is wrong.
Having porn of anyone under the age of 18 is wrong.
Being attracted to kids sexually is abnormal and said person needs to be somewhere far away from children and see a shrink.
Not cnady coating anything, nor have I once said, suggested, or implied pedophiles don't offend, or wont. I actually said the very thing you just did recently, they statistically will offend.
Having sex with anyone under a legal age of consent is illegal. Having pornography involving anyone under age is illegal. Prefer to leave right and wrong to philosophers.
