He was Republican Party Chairman and Sergeant at Arms at the time of his arrest. Now he will be Republican Party Chairman at Texas State Prison, but, definitely not Sergeant at Arms. Turns out he assaulted a 15 year old in Minnesota before moving to Texas, and he was reported to Child Protectives Services in Texas, back in 2012, before becoming Republican Party Chairman.

I guess Republicans in Texas like that kind of record. It is unknown, if he used Republican Party funds to buy his ticked to Armenia, to escape prosecution.

Precinct chair and precinct captains are like volunteer positions. Maybe they vote in county meetings. They just work the precinct, contacting voters and helping out at the polls and stuff like that.

If you get down to it, I suspect states historically Republican have more republican officials involved in sex crimes, and state historically democrat have more democrat officials involved in sex crimes.
