Dayen continued. "If the so-called party of the people cannot raise taxes on the ultra-rich they have little purpose other than being yet another handmaiden for the wealthy in Washington."

"If you have unanimous opposition to a bad policy with no real political proponents and then can't get a single thing done about it in the space of five years, it speaks to an essential malfunctioning at every level of the party and the process," he added. "Nobody should get a pass for it. It's nothing short of an embarrassment."

Just a thought, but perhaps they'd be better off in just putting the taxes back that the rich didn't really need and not spending the money, and maybe help stop inflation. Instead of giving people money to not work and "transform" the economy, which they've succeeded in doing, with the Fed's and Putin's help, but not in the way they perhaps envisioned.

The Repubs and Dems do the same thing, what's new? Why you think only one side does it is beyond my ability to reason.

People looking to the president and the federal government to improve their lives are looking in the wrong place.
All i ever got was frustration in dealing with the powers that be, plus once you take their money and advice it's like still living at home and I hated that.

Besides, Roe vs Wade.

Could not agree more.

The FedGov should only take care of constitutional enumerated duties, such as a common defense, common currency, and limited regulation of interstate commerce.

Thousands upon thousands of federal laws are unconstitutional and should be repealed.

I think we could be on the same page.
