Europe discussing sending troops to Greenland

In the first six months of 2025, we went from being the Indispensable Country to an unstable, untrustworthy, predator country.

We pissed away 80 years of soft power-building that quickly. Essentially overnight.

Absolutely incredible.
You like to say stuff perfectly free of reality huh Mac?

Rhetorical, a little study of lib. democrats shows that's all they do. Personally I like the truth, things you can touch, unbiased history, logic, those kind of things.

Lib democrats prefer group-think of ideas generated inside their heads by their masters free of any truth. Any chance that's why so lib. democrats are in therapy now?

The Trump Hater Cult looks at everything Trump does through a distorted lens.

Yeah, imagine not being able to see the great things in what Trump is doing.

Going to an ally and saying "we'll have you land, thank you very much, and we might fight you for it"

What's good about that? I'm struggling to find anything.

Relax. Nothing you can do about it for a while.

We have a president that is out of control. We don't need any more Vladimir Putin's in the world, especially one that is occupying the White House. Our political representatives need to exert what control the Constitution gives them and set him straight.

Interesting.

Last time Europeans decided to send troops to North America, we crossed a freezing river on borrowed boats before dawn on Christmas morning to kill them.

Not saying that is what would happen this time.

Necessarily.

The story is made up.

On top of the tariffs, the threats, the trolling, the mockery, the insults, the intimidation.
Trump is yakking about sending payments of anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 per person to Greenland residents to get them play ball with his insane takeover threat.

He thinks everyone can be bought like he is. That's the mindset & the narcissistic lunacy we're living under.

If he goes thru with this we're going back to pre WW2 days. All bets will be off.

We don't have to imagine, you guys ignore the great things Trump is doing for America and Americans every day. All because of your FEELZ.

President Trump is the political representative of the US.

The one and only .

Congress needs to grow a spine and rein in Trump. Trump is a madman. Trump seems to be on a mission to destroy our alliances and strengthen our enemies. The mid-terms can’t come fast enough. We need leaders not sycophants.

I'm sure if you actually RESEARCHED what Trump was doing, and if you looked at HISTORY, you'd see just how badly he's doing.

Here's Hegseth complaining about going into other countries and trying to change them.

But now he's doing exactly what he said, many times, the US shouldn't be doing.

We can look at the economy:

January 2025 when Trump came in, unemployment was a 4.0%. Last month it was a 4.4%.

Is that part of the "great things" that Trump is doing?

GDP is slowing down

GDP went from $29.9 trillion in January 2025, to $30.66 trillion in July. An increase in 6 months of $0.76 trillion.

Biden the previous year went from $28.38 T to $29.44 T. An increase of $1.06 trillion.

Trump has the wars he's supposedly stopped. Thailand had to have another peace deal soon after Trump's "peace deal" that didn't last two weeks.

His peace deal between Rwanda and the DRC didn't even include the main participants on the Rwandan side, so they ignored it.

Biden was deporting as many illegals as Trump, and doing it without killing people on the national stage.

What is Trump doing great?

Is that related to the 1 million fake jobs under Biden?

Then why did the number of illegals increase by at least 12 million under Biden?

The American empire has cracks in it. Trump is trying to revitalize it. Like it or not there are ways. Perhaps all of the checks and benefits we receive can be cut by a third with new work rules that demand increases for production in everything we do. Government or private. As I watch the insurrectionists on the streets, who cares? Let's go for the gusto. If we keep getting incrementally poorer, those insurrectionists will have real reasons to riot.
