EU Deploys Troops To Greenland

Let me know when he does something. We already have a military presence in Greenland and have had for decades and it is much greater than 34 men. All of which is moot because nothing is going to happen there.

Due to Trump's claims that there is a national security risk for the US in Greenland, these NATO soldiers are on site to “assess the situation,” to put it as neutrally as possible. The soldiers know what they have to do. In case you didn't know: Greenland is NATO territory.

Funny how they can 'deploy' troops in opposition to the US, but can't manage to send any when/where actually needed. It's like they've forgotten that the US finances most of their current defenses and saved their asses twice in the last two world wars.

Excuse me, but Germany never did anything bad to the US. Not before World War I, not during World War I, not between World War I and World War II, not during World War II, and not after World War II. Nevertheless, you weakened Germany and murdered millions of German civilians. And after World War II, you handed over a large part of Germany and Eastern Europe to Stalin's Soviet empire.

Why exactly do you say the US expects gratitude from Germany and/or the Eastern European states?

That's a silly argument. Greenland is NATO territory. No one attacks NATO territory without facing very serious consequences. Only a complete idiot would do that. Incidentally, it's no problem for Americans to do business with Greenland. So what's really Trump's problem? His untreated narcissistic personality disorder? Or has he flu?

President Trump's ploy to push Denmark and their Eurotrash allies to action and send men to Greenland to defend the island worked.

The danger to Greenland is from the Russian Federation and China, and Trump realized the place needed fortified.

He couldn't just order the Eurotrash to defend their own island, so he threatened to invade and that forced the Kingdom of Denmark into action and all it took was talk on the part of Trump.

Mission accomplished.

The European troops are there to show support for Greenland and participate in some kind of military exercise. Since Greenland has no military, maybe the US should send troops up there so they can exercise together.
