Capitalism is failing badly and that's not going to get better , it cannot self correct itself and will lead to the eventual destruction of this planet. European countries are deploying military personnel to Greenland for a quick mission as the Trump administration is pushing to acquire the Danish territory.

President Trump's ploy to push Denmark and their Eurotrash allies to action and send men to Greenland to defend the island worked.

The danger to Greenland is from the Russian Federation and China, and Trump realized the place needed fortified.

He couldn't just order the Eurotrash to defend their own island, so he threatened to invade and that forced the Kingdom of Denmark into action and all it took was talk on the part of Trump.

Mission accomplished.

It’s not truly a military operation; it’s more of a theater performance. That brings up the question: if the Russians were about to invade, would they do the same thing? My suspicion is that they’re much more timid when it comes to Russia. Otherwise, they would allow volunteers from their countries to fight in Ukraine—or even encourage incentivized volunteers, such as prisoners or convicts. They might also be willing to use impounded Russian money to purchase weapons for Ukraine.

I suspect that if any troops were actually die preventing the Russians from taking over Greenland, they would be mostly Americans, with only a small fringe of Europeans involved. Considering the danger they face from Russia, I don’t see much real preparedness—especially among the southern Europeans, who act as if they don’t actually care. In my opinion, the Europeans are weak, particularly the Danish. The only part of the continent that seems genuinely serious is Eastern Europe.

I think Donald Trump is correct: Greenland can only be safe as an American territory or state.

You're probably right as long as trump is in charge. He's not a reliable ally. How can anyone trust a man ( and his country ) who threatens their allies. They don't. Fortunately trump won't be president for much longer. Everyone is noticing his insanity , even many Republican leaders. It's a Biden situation again but worse cause this man is extremely dangerous and reckless. With the obvious dementia , some even defining it further as Lewy Body Disease , it will get progressively worse.

Funny how they can 'deploy' troops in opposition to the US, but can't manage to send any when/where actually needed. It's like they've forgotten that the US finances most of their current defenses and saved their asses twice in the last two world wars.

It's just simple absurd bullshit to say so. For example, when France, Germany, and Poland wanted to establish a joint international military unit about 30 years ago as part of the so-called “Weimar Triangle,” the US prevented this with great skill and cunning. Now that the situation has become a little more serious and you're tucking your tails between your legs, we could really use a unit like that.
