In a Republic, actually
'In the spring of 2020, when President Donald J. Trump wrote messages on Twitter warning that increased reliance on mail-in ballots would lead to a “rigged election,” the platform ran a corrective, debunking his claims.

“Get the facts about mail-in voting,” a content label read. “Experts say mail-in ballots are very rarely linked to voter fraud,” the hyperlinked article declared.

This month, Elon Musk, who has since bought Twitter and rebranded it X, echoed several of Mr. Trump’s claims about the American voting system, putting forth distorted and false notions that American elections were wide open for fraud and illegal voting by noncitizens.

This time, there were no fact checks. And the X algorithm — under Mr. Musk’s direct control — helped the posts reach large audiences, in some cases drawing many millions of views.

Since taking control of the site, Mr. Musk has dismantled the platform’s system for flagging false election content, arguing it amounted to election interference.

Now, his early election-year attacks on a tried-and-true voting method are raising alarms among civil rights lawyers, election administrators and Democrats. They worry that his control over the large social media platform gives him an outsize ability to reignite the doubts about the American election system that were so prevalent in the lead-up to the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.'

Propagating misinformation and lies about the election process – such as lies about voting by mail being linked to ‘fraud’ – is an attack on democracy.

As for X, Musk has successfully turned the platform into a sewer.

So you're against free speech?

You're going to need a lot more illegal ballots this time around.

Good luck.

This time around brother, free speech will prevail at least on X. Although who knows what’s going to happen with YouTube and Instagram they’re well-known for censoring conservative points of view.

The left is heavily censored as well.

Liberals do NOT like free speech of a political nature, though they're good on lifestyle stuff.

I understand the bottom line for me is we’re using two different words to describe the same thing so it’s all good

The left has a big problem of not being able to differentiate between a lie and a difference of opinion. Their bigotry prevents them from considering others opinions. That's why they incorrectly think that everything they don't agree with is a lie. Elon Musk should be thanked for bringing free speech back to America. Back to MAGA.

it's why they use the weasel term "disinformation".

"It's not a lie so we can't call it that, but we don't like it so we have to allude to it being a lie"

I left Oklahoma, drivin' in my Tesla
Just about to lose my mind
I was goin' to Arizona
Maybe on to California
Where the EV’s keep a charge just fine

The nuke plants going crazy
Those poco guys seem lazy
I was gonna show 'em all this time
'Cause you know I ain't no foolin'
Gotta A in greenwash schoolin'
I was born to just walk the line

Livin' on Tesla time
Livin' on Tesla time
Well, you know I've been through it
Waiting for a charge to do it
Livin' on Tesla Time

Well, there I was in Hollywood
Virtue signal bloody good
Savin’ the planet all the time
But they don't need me in the movies
And nobody sings my songs
Guess, I'm just a wastin' time

Well, then I got to thinkin'
While Elon keeps on sinkin'
And I really had a flash this time
Maybe X can post the toolin
Of all those kids in African mines
And we’d all go back on Tesla time

Livin' on Tesla time
Livin' on Tesla time
Got my green machine, so screw it
'Cause my Rep’s been greased to do it
Livin' on Tesla time

Any comment on CNN and MSNBC not airing Trumps victory speech after winning Iowa and New Hampshire because they knew what he was going to say was disinformation?

Why do superior intellects like the left always want someone to fact check for them?

Hilarious that leftists are screaming election misinformation already when for nearly three years, former Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube banned or suspended anyone who dared to post negatively about the vaccine, questioned the CDC and pharmaceuticals.

Hell, the three platforms probably banned users for posting St. Floyd's toxicology report.

Leftists aren't screaming this, liberals are.

Liberals despise the left far more than they despise conservatives.

I haven't seen a liberal since the Bush era. These days, you are either a left, right, hard left or hard right. Congressional, state, and local government voting pattern and the divisive among the population show this.

Look at how CA assembly Democrats voted on the child trafficking bill. They support pedophiles. Newsom intervened because he wants a shot at the presidency. If not, he would go along.

Whether or not is has been proven that fraud has taken place on a massive scale is irrelevant to the fact that mail-in-balloting is ripe for it, particularly when compared to in person voting with ID. That is kind of the point. Why are we opening the door to more potential fraud. That is a legitimate question, but one that Democrats don't want to answer.

Nope.

You're either a conservative, a closet conservative (aka liberal), or an independent.

There are too few leftists to matter except in the general elections, where they decide things along with independents in the swing states.
