Islam is a political movement. Islam has always been a political movement. Islam will always combine religion with a political movement. That is the very essence of theocracy —— the exact opposite of America.

I hope this one fascinates you as it does me:

Bangladesh’s government is considering removing Islam as the official state religion in response to several attacks on religious minorities by radical Islamists.

The country’s supreme court is hearing arguments on whether to drop the religion. Bangladesh is home to a massive majority of Muslims — approximately 89 percent according to the CIA world fact book, with the remainder of the population made up of mostly Hindus and some Christians.

Bangladesh Considers Dropping Islam As State Religion

Bangladesh does not have anything that remotely resembles our First Amendment. So Bangladesh’s government is actually considering dropping a state political movement. Chew on that one for a while!

It's the same way in England. The Church of England is the official religion of England. Bet you didn't know that.

To Blackrook: True, but England is not a theocracy. There would be no Muslims in England today if the Anglicans had the political power they had when they split from the Roman Catholic Church.

Parenthetically, our First Amendment codified the separation of church and state. The other Christian countries never put it in writing, but the separation is adhered to although I sometimes get the feeling that many Christians, Buddhists, et al. secretly yearn for a theocracy —— with them in charge.

Basically, it always comes down to individual liberty’s last chance set in motion by America’s Founders. Simply stated:

Government and organized religion will always plague mankind. The trick is to limit government and keep organized religion voluntary. Give either one too much power and freedom dies.

UPDATE

Sounds right to me:

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, said Thursday that it is “outrageous” to characterize people concerned about admitting Syrian refugees as racist.

Welby told Parliament’s The House magazine that thus far, Europe’s handling of the crisis has “[deepened] the crisis very, very significantly.”

Every American should be offended whenever a Muslim whips out the Constitution:

In an instant Khizr Khan became just another mud-slinger gunning for Donald Trump.

He implied Trump had never read the Constitution, which is rich coming from someone addressing the nation from the bowels of “living Constitution” leftism. Of course Democrats (and far too many Republicans) only revere the Constitution when doing so is in their own self-interest.

It is a disgrace when a MUSLIM IMMIGRATION LAWYER offers any American a copy of the Constitution on television or anywhere else:

The immigration lawyer offered Trump his copy of the Constitution and challenged him to “look for the words ‚Äòliberty’ and ‚Äòequal protection of law.’”

XXXXX

Maybe it’s time Khizr Khan spent some time reading the Constitution.

The wrath of Khan

Even if that Muslim theocrat read the Constitution he either pretends not to understand the first 16 words in the First Amendment, or he is actually too stupid to know what they mean:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; . . .

There is a third possibility. Thanks to the free advertising Khizr Khan got at Hillary’s coronation he is another parasite who saw a chance to con Democrats and Muslims into showering with money. It matters not that:

. . . Muslims try to use our Constitution against us, the reality is their arguments are empty. They cannot use against us what they don’t fully understand, and what was written to protect us against totalitarian ideologies like theirs.

Khan did reaffirm the bottom line:
Islam is a political movement. Islam has always been a political movement. Islam will always combine religion with a political movement. That is the very essence of theocracy —— the exact opposite of America.
Finally, Khizr Kahn’s son, Humayun Khan, was killed in Iraq; so I would like to hear his father say his son knew that fighting for his country also meant that he knew he was fighting against Sharia law —— which is the exact opposite of liberty and equality for all —— infidels least of all in a Muslim theocracy.

To BreezeWood: Not so. Our unique First Amendment basically prohibits an organized religion from gaining dominance with a political movement. Admittedly, a great many skirt the prohibition so they can feed at the public trough. (The XVI Amendment makes it possible.)
a less stringent adherence is the primary difference among geographic locations ...
To BreezeWood: I think you are confusing geography with priesthoods. A region may be dominated by a specific religion, but it is priesthoods who work tirelessly to access the public purse in every country in order to get paid for their morality.

Ever since 9-11-2001 I’ve been saying that Islam should be legally defined as a political movement which it is, while Socialism/Communism should be defined as a religion which it is. In that way both are denied First Amendment protection. In short: Socialists would lose access to the public purse because it is a religion, while the war against Islam could be fought as a political movement.

It will not happen------Bangladesh will remain a shariah cesspit-------now and then INTELLECTUAL Banglas----get into the
'"WE ARE BENGALIS" mode. For those who do not know----
BENGAL is a large part of India-----with its own language and a
long laudable culture----it got divided in 1948 into a mostly hindu part (india) and a mostly muslim part (east Pakistan) ---
In 1971---BARBARIC war----West Pakistan decided to commit a genocide on East Pakistan which was virtually a tribute state
within the PAKISTAN complex-------from thence --east Pakistan became BANGLADESH ---in memory of its
Bengali cultural background. There has been a kind of
UNITED BENGAL movement-----which would combine Bengladesh with India's West Bengal------maybe---sorta

Every American should be offended whenever a Muslim whips out the Constitution:

I, CERTAINLY WAS. I actually did vomit-----I would like to sue him for the cost of cleaning my carpet
