Picking Carly Fiorina to be his running mate would be a bad choice on the part of Ted Cruz, Donald Trump opined Wednesday, remarking that the former Republican presidential candidate "did not resonate" and that it would further hurt the Texas senator's case.

"Not because she's a woman, but Carly did not resonate at all with people," Trump said in a telephone interview with ABC's "Good Morning America."

Trump then remarked that Fiorina had "one good debate," in reference to her performance in the first Republican undercard debate last August.

I do not believe Trump is shaking in his boots over Cruz major announcement later today.

Cruz has to win Indiana and if not it is all over and nothing is going to stop Trump from winning the nomination.
