The US battled the Taliban and AQ for 20-years in AFG. We wasted $trillions and lost many US lives.
Xiden surrendered, the Taliban won. Now AFG is starving. Sucks to be in AFG, but the US gave them the means to self-govern, and they chose to surrender to the Taliban instead. That we tried "nation-building" is enough to ease my conscience. It is what it is, no one gets a free ride, AFG is the Tailban's problem not ours. The Afghans made their "life-choice" and now they need to deal with it. The US has a $30T Debt that needs to be addressed, that should take priority.
