The number of people who go bankrupt every year because of...

Why grudgingly?

We should all want what's best for Americans.

Good Healthcare system in place for all Americans is what I call "America First."

I can get behind that.

What say you?
That opens a whole different conversation, one's personal responsibility for their own health, which includes self-education on the subject.

Fair enough.

This Question?

Or This Question?

You mean THIS question?????

Because NOBODY moves to SK, Iceland, SW, nor Japan to find JOBS to help their Family.

I thought this ^^^^ was obvious.

Incredible isn't it? How in the world these countries survive without cheap labor. Do you know?

This is why nobody feels bad about that schmuck who got popped in NYC and many people are even cheering about it.

I think I like this new populist directions Americans are taking, finally.

This is why noone is going to feel bad if you are popped anywhere.

One less moron to worry about or listen to whine.

643K is 1/660th or about 0.15% of the population.

A much higher percentage are like you.....having graduated High School with no ability to think. Worry about that.

Ironically there seems to be a direct correlation between taxes and happiness.

Part of the problem is these countries get the US to foot the bill for their defense and then they use that money they saved for programs to help their citizens. Smart for them, dumb for us.

Is part of the problem the fact that Americans have no advocates private or government that negotiates lower costs for drugs and services?

Ummmmmmmmm, health insurance companies are always negotiating prices for services. They even have networks. If you won't agree to their prices then you aren't in their network.

What's the goal of health insurance companies?

To keep their costs as low as possible so they don't have to charge higher prices themselves. That's why they negotiate prices for services, drugs, etc. Boy are you stupid. If all they cared about was making profits they would have no need to negotiate prices with providers and drug companies. Why do you think they negotiate prices with providers and drug companies?

Sounds like they're damn near pro-patient the way you put it.

Are they operating with the best interest of the patient at heart?

The US health system needs to be overhauled, no doubt. The family up the street from me found out their 8 year old had cancer and they had to start a Go Fund Me page to help pay the bills. WTF? The last thing this family (both parents work) should have been concerned about is how will they pay for care. I also recognize there is no easy answer for either political party.

Leftists have been screaming this for decades.

Welcome to the right position on this.
