It seems that during every election cycle, someone asks a candidate about the cost of a gallon of milk, a staple in most homes, to determine if that candidate is in touch with economic realities facing average Americans.

If a candidate says milk costs $74.00 a gallon, perhaps he or she is an Amazon shopper!
