Obama Presidential Center is a disaster, like his presidency | Opinion
Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, are opening the Obama Presidential Center on June 19 in Chicago – an eight-story shrine to themselves built largely at everyone else's expense.
The day before, a star-studded crowd – Bill and Hillary Clinton, Stevie Wonder, John Legend – gathered to celebrate the sprawling 19-acre campus, complete with a public library branch, basketball court, restaurant, playground and ticketed museum.
Despite the glitzy fanfare, the monstrosity stands as a monument to hypocrisy and the Obamas' unrelenting hunger for the spotlight, a legacy project for a presidency that disappointed more Americans than its architects care to admit.

This was the story of the first 1/2 white president, who threw his white grandmother under the bus, and failed to bring the nation closer together even though many white guilt democrats had voted for his hope and change. Yet again, Obama disappoints. Even Big Mike was having issues with Barry.

I can't think of any marriages that have not had problems.
Max, when did you become perfect?

The Obama Presidential Center and Museum in Chicago was constructed at an estimated cost of $850 million, financed entirely through private donations raised by The Obama Foundation. Prominent corporate and individual megadonors include Jeff Bezos, Oprah Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes, and Marc Benioff. [1, 2]

Adrenochrome is a real chemical compound that is a byproduct of adrenaline oxidation. While it can be legally purchased for scientific research from chemical suppliers, it has no proven recreational or anti-aging properties. Claims that it is harvested from living humans are part of a baseless conspiracy theory. [1, 2, 4, 5]

Sadly many people close to the industry of trafficking in children, including testimony from Justin Bieber and many others whose names I cannot remember, corroborate the thing that Denzel Washington made in the video above that you did not watch.

It's real, but only demonic individuals participate. It's so disgusting that most people avert their gaze, cognitive dissonance understandable.

I believe just like those green Martians I discuss TV series with.

Yet he polls better than Trump.

Stevie Wonder was quoted as saying that he loved the design of the center. He was apparently the only one.

This is not an Obama comment, but I think that personal monuments like this should not be opened until at least ten years after the person is in the ground.

Obama's signature accomplishment, the Affordable Care Act was a terrible idea ("We have to pass it so we can see what's in it") that has ultimately proven to be a financial disaster for most working class families who are its intended beneficiaries. It tried to address an intractable problem that remains: How do "we" take care of people who have expensive medical conditions that are financially ruinous? The answer was NOT forcing healthy people to get insured and pay twice as much, just to take care of those unfortunates.

And what else did he accomplish? His agreement with Iran was so bad that he didn't even submit it to the Senate as required by the Constitution.

President Obama's nuclear agreement with Iran (the JCPOA) was not approved by the Senate as a formal treaty because the administration structured it as a non-binding political commitment. This strategic choice allowed Obama to bypass the Constitution’s requirement for a two-thirds Senate majority, which he was highly unlikely to secure due to intense partisan opposition. [1, 2, 3]

Correct. Do you see that the opposition was not partisan? It was a terrible agreement that tacitly allowed Iran to develop nukes in the future. And of course, they cheated from Day #1, which all cogent humans expected.

Keeping score? Two accomplishments, both bad. The Chicago monument is perfect. Monstrous and monstrously expensive.

The opposition to Obama's JPCOA was far from partisan. The #2 Dem in the Senate opposed it, big time.

Trump would say, "How stupid. I will raid the federal coffers for my beautiful, big, wonderful library tribute to me. The best, the most beautiful, the wonder of the world." What an asshole Trump truly is.

He stole 325 million from intelligence to pay for the ballroom construction.
