I hate to break it to you, but Zionism is and always has been, the Jewish effort to re-establish a Jewish state in the Jews former kingdom of Judea (which was founded in the year 6 AD. That's it. Nothing more. Zionism has nothing to do with any other religion.
The US isn't Zionising anything. As for colonizing, those things occurred "centuries" ago, and people of all races moved around the globe. Siberians and Mongols "colonized" North America several thousand years ago, becoming our Native Americans. Pacific Islanders spread across various islands in the Pacific, and some settled in South America. They were colonizing. When people settled areas that already had peoples on the land, there were no customs or border patrol, just migrating people and no rules.
