Contractors could hire Americans. There was a time not long ago when contracting jobs were all held by Americans. My point. Contractors complain that they need those workers. All they need do is petition the INS to give work permits to those applicants that have those skills. There are also agencies that promote work in foreign countries, although most are skilled jobs. Unskilled jobs are done by indigenous workers.
and?We live in the same place. Drive by some construction sites.
Crime should not be free from consequences. Nor should the stupidity that puts most people on Government assistance. That's harsh, man.
Not allowing illegals to stay is harsh? What planet are you from? That's harsh, man.
This, remittances, is a $60-80Billlion annual drain on our currency, made up for by more borrowing.
Never allowing them to come back legally is harsh. Not allowing illegals to stay is harsh? What planet are you from?
Not a cent of which is taxed. This, remittances, is a $60-80Billlion annual drain on our currency, made up for by more borrowing.
Update. $150Billion in remittances leaves the economy. Not a cent of which is taxed.
Count the white guys that you see working there.and?
Actually, Federal law allows for a 3 year ban on legal entry if they were here for 6 months - 1 year, and a 10 year ban if they were here for over 1 year. Attempting reentry (even if they attempt to enter legally) while under this ban can result in a PERMANENT ban on reentry!!!Never allowing them to come back legally is harsh.
Firmly on planet earth.![]()
Don't count on the money earned is taxed. Workers get pain in cash, no tax. They are criminals, no tax. Remittances is a gigantic form of foreign aid. Tax Remittances. We have sales tax. Have Remittance tax.Update. $150Billion in remittances leaves the economy.
While remittances themselves aren't taxed the money earned to fund them is taxed like any other income. There are calls to tax the remittances themselves, which must be punitive if it is to be effective.
What is really stupid is allowing travelers to cross the border with large sums of U.S. currency, up to $10,000. Most who do this are simply transferring cartel drug money.
Violent illegals and/or ones that have committed crimes should not be allowed back into the United States. Other illegals who get deported need to follow the legal process to enter, just like the millions of other immigrants who did it the proper way. If you're sneaking over the border, using a bullshit app to get temporary protection status or some other nonsense reason .. a second illegal attempt should ban them for consideration.Never allowing them to come back legally is harsh.

Okay, what does that have to do with justifying illegal entry and then providing a path to becoming a citizen?Count the white guys that you see working there.
Nothing. I stated that running off the illegals will increase the prices of new houses. I was in that business for twenty years. I know what I'm talking about. There are now a couple of generations of young men who can't take over for that loss, because they don't know how to do it.Okay, what does that have to do with justifying illegal entry and then providing a path to becoming a citizen?
Why would all immigrants be deported? ...
Quisling EconomicsAdding Up the Billions in Tax Dollars Paid by Undocumented Immigrants
using Individual Tax Identification Numbers (ITINs), and many who do not file income tax returns still have taxes deducted from their paychecks.” The end result is that undocumented immigrants are paying billions of dollars each year in taxes. Moreover, as several studies have found, undocumented immigrants would earn much more, and therefore pay much more in taxes, if they had some sort of legal status, be it permanent or temporary. Not surprisingly, permanent status yields more tax revenue than temporary status.

Adding Up the Billions in Tax Dollars Paid by Undocumented Immigrants
Undocumented immigrants are paying billions of dollars each year in taxes. In spite of their undocumented status, these immigrants—and their family members—are adding value to the U.S. economy, not only as taxpayers, but as workers, consumers, and entrepreneurs as well.www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org
