Zohran Says Taxpayers Will Pay for Undocumented Families Daycare

America’s migrant workers are terrified to work but unable to stay home

New YorkCNN —
In the early morning on Tuesday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents chased farmworkers through a field in Oxnard, California.

Agents tackled and restrained workers amid rows of produce, as seen in video from CNN affiliate KABC.

ICE, racing to fulfill President Donald Trump’s goal to increase deportations, has increasingly targeted work sites for immigration sweeps in recent weeks. The escalation is creating a chilling effect on the businesses that rely on immigrant labor and the workers themselves, with some staying home out of fear. America’s agriculture, construction, health care and hospitality industries are powered by immigrant workers, both legal and undocumented.

“Recent immigration enforcement raids on businesses nationwide are creating serious challenges for local economies, communities, and industries that depend on immigrant labor to operate and prosper,” said Rebecca Shi, the CEO of American Business Immigration Coalition, a group representing employers with immigrants.

Keep Lying. It would be a disappointment if you actually told the truth.

I saw nothing about the employer being addressed. All they have to do is go to the office and inform the employer that if there are illegals working there tomorrow the employer will be arrested.

As is, he starts back up as soon as the goons leave.

Articles like this one consistently misrepresent what ICE is doing. ICE does not target work sites; it targets individuals named in warrants and it goes where they are likely to find them. This is exactly the same procedure police warrant squads use every day all around the country.

I saw nothing about the employer being addressed. All they have to do is go to the office and inform the employer that if there are illegals working there tomorrow the employer will be arrested.

Oh, so it is the waaaay Trump is fighting employment of illegals. So you lied again.

Yeah, don't ever come on and tell the truth, dude. Your sister Democrats might be worried thinking there had been some foul play and an honest person had taken over your account.

Employers in Pennsylvania should heed the warnings of this story – it can be quite costly to hire illegal workers. Robert Kramer of Philadelphia was sentenced to one year of probation, including six months of home confinement, after he plead guilty to charges of knowingly employing illegal immigrants at a chain of car washes. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) investigated Kramer, which turned up over 50 illegal immigrants at Car Care, Inc. The business operated more than 50 car washes in six states, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

According to ICE, Kramer hired undocumented workers, gave those workers the names of former employees, and then paid the undocumented workers with checks in the names of the former employees. U.S. District Court Judge Darnell C. Jones, II, ordered Kramer to pay a $75,000 fine to be paid with personal, not corporate, funds. Judge Jones also ordered Kramer to perform, at the Court’s direction, community service.

Increased investigations and I-9 audits, coupled with ICE’s prerogative to collect civil penalties from employers and individuals, necessitate the maintenance of organized I-9 files.

So, what will it be now? That the punishments are not harsh enough? What would make you realize that Trump is enforcing immigration laws? Death penalty for hiring an illegal to mow my lawn?

This was your statement:

The federal government continues to allow people to work here regardless of status and you want to blame someone not in charge of enforcing immigration?

This proves it is a lie:

Workplace sweeps

Mass workplace immigration raids were a priority during Trump’s first term, culminating in at least 680 arrests during a 2019 raid on chicken processing plants in Mississippi. The Biden administration ended the practice, saying employers exploited the raids to suppress workers from reporting labor violations.

But ICE has stepped up sweeps again in recent weeks on industries that rely heavily on immigrant workers. That includes a local construction company in Exeter, Pennsylvania; construction sites in Brownsville, Texas; and a flood control project in New Orleans. ICE arrested about 40 people in Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, two prominent vacation spots in Massachusetts, last month.

Nobody was arrested for the chicken plant. The employee's were processed and dropped back off at the factory.

You must have missed the entire Minnesota bruhaha over the past week.

No it isn't. States are unable to determine who is here illegally without the federal government and even where enacted on a state level (Florida) it isn't being enforced.

Laws not enforced are not laws at all.

Laws are still laws even if they aren't enforced. So from what I gather you have great sympathy for this marxist communist mayor. Doesnt seem real libertarian to me. Seems quite like your ordinary radical leftist of today.

I think you don't understand libertarian. I do not support the unequal enforcement of laws.

I’m so mad at my fellow Jews who not only voted for the NY antisemitic mayor but actually take bus rides - paid of course - to areas protesting on the side of HAMAS that I’ve cut them out of my life.

Is every Gaza resident, no matter how old, a member of Hamas?

Not necessarily a member of Hamas, but nearly every Gazan supports Hamas' goal of destroying Israel.

Are you sure?

You seem so sure!

So 8 year old children are fair game? Hospitals? Churches?

Olive groves might be hiding Qatar funded Hamas terrorists, so they must go too

LMAO What did I tell you all on election day +1 after the Democrats got their asses beat...DEMOCRATS WILL NOT CHANGE! They won't change because they can't change, this is who these human scum are!!

Now a whistle blower has ratted out the child abusers, also known as the teachers union who send out 'Trump is a fascist' flaming emails on a daily basis. And that DEI is again raging through the education system the radical far left teachers union rules with an iron fist.

I TOLD YOU SO

You're defending a marxist mayor for breaking a law. Unequal enforcement of laws?! Lol. What kind of word salad is that.

we want to prosecute those seeking to make a living while giving a pass to those providing that living but you knew this already.

No, we want to deport the illegals and allow our own US citizens the ability to make a living. You should know that. This mayor is giving free pass to illegals on the backs of working US citizens. Im not down nor will ever be down with that.

15th post
I think free daycare for children of illegals is a great idea.
How else could the parent get the time off to go sell drugs?

I am absolutely sure. That's why there are no Palestinian leaders who support peace with Israel, because there are no Palestinians who would support them. The rest of your post is just gibberish.

Of course to deport the most of Biden's illegals, DHS goes where they are, at jobsites.

This:
The federal government continues to allow people to work here regardless of status and you want to blame someone not in charge of enforcing immigration?
is a deliberate lie.

Admittedly, the Trump admin would prefer to deport illegals arrested for further crimes. That should be easy. send the arresting agency an ICE detainer and go pick them up. Instead, Blue City officials prefer to let them go.
