WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Department of Housing and Urban Development wants to ban families with any member who is undocumented from living in federally subsidized housing. A proposed rule also would require local housing authorities to report any tenant not eligible for rental aid to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

It's part of a broader Trump administration crackdown on immigration, and in an opinion column in the Washington Post Thursday HUD Secretary Scott Turner called for "ending the era of illegal aliens and other ineligible noncitizens exploiting public housing resources."

Undocumented immigrants do not get federal rental aid, but they can live with family members who do, including many U.S.-born children. In his column, Turner said roughly 24,000 such residents in are in HUD-subsidized housing. He and some other conservatives argue that is unfair, given limited funding and long waitlists for HUD housing.

Cry harder NPR......I say, push away!

Do you ever wonder why every illegal woman/girl is pregnant? They squirt out a kid that's a legal resident.

Well, someone needs to take of it, so Maria gets a Green card to take care of Juan jr. She can apply for all the goodies and freebies for him as his guardian.

Her husband, Juan, mows lawns or works construction for cash.

Maria cleans houses or sells burritos out of one of the many high end free strollers she has got for free (along with high end car seats that you often see on the side of the road or in the trash). Eventually they got most of their family up here during the Biden open border sucking on the taxpayer teat.

The next county over has prenatal care classes for illegals that tax payers pay for. That's where all those "free" strollers, car seats, formula, Pampers, etc come from. I bet 99% of tax payers in that county have no idea.

"Their" homes? Not even close. It's subsidized by taxpayer homes. They don't own it. If they don't like it, go back to the illegal's home country.

Very good news.

Why should an illegal alien get to displace an American citizen in subsidized housing? NO illegal, no matter how many anchor babies they squeeze out, should be jumped ahead in line ahead of an honest American.

I say remove the "huddled masses yearning to breathe free" words from the Statue of Liberty. We've got enough of those.

Those words in blue are NPR's words, not yours, I know. They are a lie. One of the big lies pushed by Democrats/Liberals/Leftists.

If an illegal alien with a child born in the U.S.A. applies for AFDC or SNAP, the electronic benefit cards (EBT) will be issued in the name of the adult applicant who is an "undocumented immigrant."

Besides, in many states, there is absolutely no check for legal status and the public facing workers are not allowed to ask on pain of firing.
