Yeah, I'll have to agree with some of the others on this thread: you seem to be going along with the mainstream narrative without having all the facts.

Some of the men present were from an organization called "Oath Keepers". They were there to support POTUS 45 and petition congress to address the grievances about election irregularities. These men assisted the capital police who asked for their help.

The few video clips that the media replays over and over try to depict violence on the part of the protestors. If you watch the whole video and hear the accounts of what was really going on, you will find that many of these scenes actually depict protestors defending themselves from unwarranted aggression. A handful of police were acting out beyond normal crowd control protocol.

I recommend watching Epoch Times' account to start to see the bigger picture of what happened that day. Sure, you'll probably disagree with some of it. But it's undeniable that watching the full video clips shows a much different story than what the MSM/Democratic committee want you to see:
