Parents are responsible for feeding their children.

And some parents who RELY on formula for various health reasons can't feed them because all the shelves are suddenly, unexpectedly bare of baby food. Want them to make their own? Maybe pull dandelions in their back yard?

The corporations are to blame so hold THE COMPANIES and the shareholders responsible.

Lees sounds good to end regs to get alternate formula. I listened to him talk about it and he says other countries could sell us enough to end the crisis but regs and tarrifs stop it. Even WIC has to get Govt approved supplies. Aka kick backs more tjan likely

Serious question. This appears to be the latest outrage seized on by the right. Fair issue to get upset about as it affects a lot of people, but what is it you really expect the federal government to do about it? Just about every industry has experienced supply chain shortages. It took me four months to get my new car I ordered last summer. I'm a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and it took longer than normal to get the current homes built in the area because of lumber and other shortages. We have new laptops and other IT products we need for people at work on back order with no ETA. Baby formula is just another facet of this, but for some reason the right is focusing on this specific product, so what solution are you expecting and why are you demanding the Feds get involved?

Why not deal DIRECTLY with the necessary companies and executive order some fast track shit?
Giving the FDA money for beaucratic bullshit is not the answer.

Europe or Canada feed their babies their formula but apparently our babies have unique internal organs and what's good for them may not be good for us.....
