It would be great if the lawfare would end. But it cannot end by Republicans saying "we need to stop this weaponization of the justice system" and Democrats lisping, "Yeah! Thop doing that, you weaponizer guys!"
The Democrats are taking the brunt of it right now. They need to come to the table, apologize for their nine years of weaponized intelligence and justice and offer to agree on some ground rules to prevent such shenanigans in the future.
It was just fun and games for Dems but lives were changed, people were forced to plead guilty on pain of having family members gone after, and of course life savings for public servants were spent on legal defense.
Dems won't be willing to fix it until they feel some of the pain, as well.
Didn't merrick garland wait an entire 18 months before he eventually issued a raid of Trump's home after many, pretty please, please return all the stolen top secret documents? Some "weaponization." Weaponizing the DOJ is something any vengeful authoritarian would do right away, ie Trump. Biden would have directed Garland to arrest Trump on day 1, which never happend even after 18 months, btw. They wouldn't look a gift like stealing nuclear secrets and other classified info and delay it for nearly 2 years. Cmon. Look at how much dirt must be on Trump in the Epstein files that he's trying so hard to suppress, and Biden didn't even touch it. Another gift. Sometimes you just need to take a step back from the rhetoric and the dogma and look at the facts objectively. Democrats are too weak to be weaponizing anything against anyone but maybe a lowly government office worker.
