Comey Indicted

Then don't you think you should bring charges? If you don't you are just chicken liddling and lying! We are bringing charges against Comey for a very good reason. We'll see how you do LOL
The entire system is rigged. You guys are funny. You falsely claimed the system was rigged. Then took it over and rigged it for your benefit.

The part that pisses me off the most is how you guys said you were going to DOGE waste, fraud and abuse then

renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War could cost over $1 billion

Army parade held in Washington D.C. that coincided with former President Trump's birthday in June 2025, the cost was approximately $30 million
The cost to retrofit the Boeing 747-8 aircraft gifted by Qatar $1 billion
During his second term in 2025, Donald Trump's golfing has cost U.S. taxpayers tens of millions of dollars
And that's just Trump

Reports surfaced in February 2025 that the Army requested $137,297 in upgrades for a military residence at Fort McNair for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, including nearly $50,000 for an "emergency" paint job.

I'm not paying $52 to read the article!!!

Can you please cut and paste the pertinent parts that make your point?
Don't worry. It's all bullshit. If Comey lied then Trump and Kash Patel have also been caught lying.

Trump knows Comey won't be convicted. This will just cost him money and some sleep. But it's a warning to anyone else who might challenge Putin, I mean Trump.

Clearly not.

Explain how Comey was “preventing the peaceful transfer of power”.

We already covered that. You support it, I oppose it. There is no value in focusing down on minor details or..even stupidier shit.

THe discussion now should move on to the ramifications of this.

What it means for us as a society moving forward.

How should we as a society adjust to the fact that the Left, are no longer playing the game of DEMOCRACY, in good faith?

We already covered that
We didn't. I asked you, repeatedly, and you refused to answer because you're an entitled child who just demands we accept your ridiculous assertion without evidence.

You asked for irrelevant details to bog down the discussion.

Regardless of any details, you support this, and I oppose it.

That's the truth that you want to avoid.

For the obvious reason that you realize that you are on the wrong side of this issue.

As is common for modern lefties.

You asked for irrelevant details to bog down the discussion.

It’s not irrelevant. It’s the entire basis of your argument.

Don’t be a child.

Trump has taken control of the DoJ to protect his allies and attack his enemies. You are going to go down in history as an embarrassment to the nation.

Comey is not "his enemy" attacked on false charges, like the dems did with their impeachments and lawfare.

Comey lied under oath. Plenty of people do time for shit like that.

He lied to hide the fact that he was using his office to fight the peaceful transfer of power.

We've covered this and now you want to avoid the clarity we have found,

ie that you support it, and I oppose it.

And that very much seems to be a representative positon for our sides. THe lefties seem very happy with this type of behavior, and the right is slowing becoming aware of how ...much of an issue it is and the need to respond to it.

One, Trump definitely considers Comey his enemy. He has said terrible things about him. You're blind if you don't see how Trump feels about Comey.

As for the facts of the case, we have yet to see what "lie" Trump's toadie of a lawyer thinks he told. We don't know who he supposedly authorized to be a source for a story. We don't know who the investigation was about.

You can offer your belief about what the lie was, and I'll be glad to discuss whether that could actually constitute "fighting the peaceful transfer of power".

. It comes right up for me no paywall. Comey was most certainly a bad actor and deserves punishment.

James Comey before testifying on Capitol Hill in December 2018.

A new federal prosecutor handpicked by President Trump is reportedly moving quickly to secure an indictment of former FBI Director James Comey on charges of lying to Congress. Comey lied to Congress on Sept. 30, 2020 — the day he denied, under oath, that he was involved in leaking information from the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation. The five-year statute of limitations on that charge will lapse on Tuesday.

"Screw it!", exclaimed Trump. If you people can't do your jobs and indict him on lying to Congress, then at least indict him on being x xxxxx xxxxx xxx for walking around like he owns the place and writing cryptic messages in the sand with seashells to cap me". In fact, all he has to do is go before a judge and they can see for themselves what a xxxxx xxx he really is. Believe me, we won't even need any evidence to present!"

CNN is reportedly saying that Hitler also targeted others while in power.

Coincidence?

More to come.

OP cleaned of name calling.

There you played dumb to avoid my point. Standard lefty tactic these days.

Neither of us care about these details.

There is NO chance that any detail will change your mind on this, you support him and his actions.

There is no chance that any detail will change my mind on this. I oppose him and his efforts to fight the peaceful transfer of power.

It is a waste of time to talk about details that neither of us care about and have no impact on our positions.

It is ******* dumb to talk about completely irrelevant shit.

You can offer your belief about what the lie was, and I'll be glad to discuss whether that could actually constitute "fighting the peaceful transfer of power".

THe point of discussion now is that you support fighting the peaceful transfer of power and I know that about you and I consider that a huge problem that needs responded to.

Minor details about how we got there are irrelevant.

You just want to bog the discussion down in stupid shit, to avoid revealing just how bad and anti-democratic your side is.

Neither of us care about these details.

Speak for yourself. I care about the details a LOT. These aren't just details, these are facts. In my book, facts matter.

There is NO chance that any detail will change your mind on this, you support him and his actions.

This is an excuse you're making to avoid having to substantiate your argument.

There is no chance that any detail will change my mind on this. I oppose him and his efforts to fight the peaceful transfer of power.

You don't have any facts or details, you started with a conclusion.

It is a waste of time to talk about details that neither of us care about and have no impact on our positions.

It is ******* dumb to talk about completely irrelevant shit.

It's a waste of time only because you are closed minded and refuse to allow your preconceived notions to be challenged. You're a fundamentalist.

THe point of discussion now is that you support fighting the peaceful transfer of power and I know that about you and I consider that a huge problem that needs responded to.

I don't accept that because I don't share your unshakable belief that has no factual substantiation.

Minor details about how we got there are irrelevant.

These are not minor details. Beliefs without factual substantiation make you a fundamentalist. This is bad for the country.

Speak for yourself. I care about the details a LOT. These aren't just details, these are facts. In my book, facts matter.

.....

i want you to clearly assert, that you are open to new information that would convince you that TRUMP is in the right on this issue and you would then support him and his policy on it (potentially).

Not only will I get a good, nay, a GREAT laugh at that. But many other readers on this site would also.

I will never agree that it's okay for the president to be so highly involved in the decision to prosecute someone that he has personal animus against. That's an entirely inappropriate behavior for any president or anyone holding office really.

I will be open to any facts that would be relevant for the prosecution against Comey or his behavior in office. You're making very serious claims about Comey and refusing to back them up whatsoever.

15th post
So if we were to actually consider the facts, crazy I know, there's going to be a pretty difficult case to make.

The most likely explanation for the charges, based on news reports, is that this is about Comey telling his friend Richman to leak a memo to the NY Times.

The testimony he gave in May 2017 where he denied authorizing any leak came before he told Richman to get the memo to the NY Times.

Comey was forthcoming with the DOJ IG about telling Richman to do so, and this was all clearly public information.

IN 2020, Comey says he stands by that testimony in May 2017, because that testimony was true. However, it can't be said he was trying to mislead Congress about having authorized Richman to leak the memos since it was already perfectly public information that he did so.

Yet you never complained about Biden when he did it. Now you're really showing your true colors, looking the other way at a corrupt demagogue and people running our country that we don't even know who they were, for years. You are currently Shilling for a non peaceful transfer of power. Traitorous

You’re delusional.
You did complain about Biden when he did it? Please point it out where that happened you'll have to throw away your pom poms and cheerleading outfit because that's exactly what you did for Biden.
